Crazy bots

Before reading anything about the bots, I remember going to Azshara to try and get some Ironfeathers for my tribal bp, and I noticed how incredibly easy the hippogryfs there were, they are lvl 52-54 and 2 moonfires and a little melee kills them, you can kill about 5 at once. Then I saw a person named Loly a level 60 rogue who was killing them, and I sent a tell asking to buy Ironfeathers and got no responce.

I then noticed a few other level 60's, all either rogues or paladins, none responded to tells. So whatever I got a few ironfeathers and left. I came back the next day and they were still there, I thought wow what a coincidence, and then I put them on friends to see what was up, and noticed the next week every time I was on, which was alot, they were on, and were in Azshara.

I now read that there is a Loly on just about every server that farms non stop, it seems it has to be a bot, unless it is an employee for IGE or another company? I'm just wondering how this could crush the economy on all servers, or if it wont effect it at all, I suppose there is always crazy real life people that farm non stop, but bottage seems a little crazy and like it might get out of hand. All Blizzard has to say about the situation is; report hacks at hacks@blizzard.com

Anyone else seen any mysterious farmers that don't respond to tells and are on non stop? What do you think the impact of bots will be on the game?

Send them a tell saying "RANG RANG RANG RANG RANG RANG RANG RANG RANG." It's a disruptor frequency that messes with Koreans, making their robot heads explode.

There used to be this rogue that hung out in STV at the venture company mine. Never answered tells, didnt talk, moved really weird, and just killed the goblins which were way under her level.

But ya, report the shit out of these IGE zombies.

Yeah, the STV spot (farming broken electrolanterns) was the old spot they used before they discovered Aszhara. The other spot was the orcs in Burning Steppes.

But now they all seem to be pretty much farming exclusively in Aszara.

On our server there's no Loly but there's 2 level 60 rogues and 1 level 60 paladin that live 24 hours in Aszhara on our server too.

They must get a decent amount of random drops out there as well (or have some chest spawns to check out there) because those same fuckers are selling all kinds of recipes and uncommon gear on the AH all the time too.

Heh I was messing with the bots earlier (They're all in a guild called CCTV for the most part). I would tag one so I got the xp claim on it, then I'd run over to a bot that wasnt engaged and it would automatically start killing it. Got the bots to kill about 9 before someone actually started paying attention on the other end. I said "Hello" and it said "no". Rofl.

Btw, the money maker is the undamaged hippogryph feathers. IMO they need to remove the vendor price on them and make them for the teleport quest only...that alone would seriously cutdown on the gold farming.

Blizzard needs to start watching this crap and tracking the transactions of certain guilds/players.

didn't the big plat seller guy hire people in near 3rd world countries to farm?

they might speak russian, and thus dont understand engligh. work in shifts, whatever.

stealing spawns seems to be a simple test. if they're melee, just spell the mob they're running too.

They're IGE gold farmers for the most part, same as in lineage2. And yeah, the feathers is mostly what they make their "big" cash drops on.

Just don't confuse this type of game playing trash with normal everyday asian players. CnRen are dam fun to group with.

They are on pretty much every server. Bleeding Hollow got its share of 24/7 Azshara farmers as well. Fun thing is they all probably work for the same "big boss", as Horde and Alliance farmers don't attack each other.

Saw a 60 human rogue (who lives in Azshara) kill a lvl 50 horde person, right next to a 60 troll rogue (who also happens to live in Azshara). The troll rogue didn't even flinch. She saw the kill, turned around and went for the next thunderhead bird. I sent her a tell, asking why she didn't do anything to help the horde person. Her reply: "welcome, how can I do u?".

I'm horde and a group of alliance spend about 2 hours a day in azshara corpse camping those guys on Blackrock...

Like i feel for the asian guys having to run around and do that stuff for money.. which is really why I hope they're paid by the hour but it's just so much fun just destroying them for a few hours a day.

Ahhh, so that explain why these fucking lvl 55-60 paladins were always camping that place with goblins in stranglethorn vale.

Was probably one of the hardest quest for me to complete cause I generally don't camp stuff and all the goblins were perma killed all the time.

As a warrior it's my duty to hate paladin in the first place (even more since I'm horde) but this just got my hate up a notch toward them! (semi answer to the other thread why people hate paladins).
