There's some discrepancy as to whether or not this is closed beta or not (I can't read korean). A post in that thread claims Koreans were able to transfer their beta characters to retail. I haven't seen any official posts regarding that though (again, can't read korean).

Seems that she dropped 3 epic items. I'm not overly concerned with what she dropped or how they did it, more interested in any new content that might have opened up from killing her.

Korean players were able to keep on playing with their characters after beta had finished provided they started paying for their accounts. There was a press release about it:

Players who are currently in the open beta test have the latest version of the World of Warcraft client and can continue playing once they input their preferred method of payment.

The reason for this was because of the precedent set by various large Korean MMOGs in the past (like Lineage 2).

their open beta was their free trial.

After all, aren't they the ones paying $22 a month, but didnt have to buy the box?

So its not like they leveled, keyed and geared in, what?, 2 and a half weeks?

Their characters are just as old as ours. Pretty impressive either way.

I think the best way to take onixyia would be basically u plan the battle spend 1 month finding the best 10 players of each class.Like best melee fighters of you server. Then find the best Spell casters on the server. And the way you would find them is have a large dueling ground for 1 week to find out who really has skill or what not.
