Updates?

Is there any chance you guys will be having any more updates of guild events/accomplishments like they did when they played EQ? Maybe I speak alone on this one but the news articles were always a fun read and kept me playing and made me more interested in the everquest community. I have a feeling theres a silent majority on this board that agrees with me, judging by the ratio of posts to views.

You have 14 Days. If after that time the Plane is not properly tuned, I am deleting my characters, and cancelling all of my accounts. The rest of my guild will follow suit, as will several other guilds and people that play Everquest.

Furor works for Blizzard, right? If so, I doubt we're going to be seeing very many posts of him ranting, which were the funniest ones back in the EQ days. It would be cool to see some updates, even if they are just screenshots and praise of the game.

I actually miss updates like that. I'm guessing we'll start seeing them, maybe not from FOH, but somewhere, once people actually start beating encounters like Onyxia.

While I do not respect Furor's way of handling things in that I think it is immature and stems from an innate insecurity, it would be false to claim that his ranting got nothing accomplished.

Whether you all like it or not, he has done more for the genre than many of you think.

Play WoW, and play EQ2. Sure, EQ2's graphics are spectacular (on a good system), and it's still EQ at heart, which may make some people happy, but World of Warcraft is such a more polished and refined game that is so much more well thought out, and Furor is the one who saw this and he's the one that decided to help the cause.

One thing I'd really like to see...

A post from him about how he feels toward developers now. I wonder if he has any more compassion for the old EQ team now that he's walked a few miles in similar shoes?

A completely new stunning magazine look to the 1st ever hairy site online and still one of the biggest.
