+2 Internets | Raid lockout timers still bugged from beta This is just a heads up for anyone about to start raiding in WoW - the lockout timer bug that popped up in beta is still in. For a little background on the bug - the instance is supposed to save its state when a boss or miniboss in the zone die. This is to keep people from being able to do multiple copies of an instance, so they're basically stuck with that copy for x number of days. However, it also keeps people from joining an instance once it's been saved(this may be a seperate bug as well), even if they haven't been saved to a specific copy of that instance yet. Where the bug comes in is that the instance is saved as soon as a mob is engaged in the zone. The timer was reduced to 6 hours in beta, but it's back to its intended timer for each zone which looks to be somewhere between 3-5 days. So just as a warning, anyone getting close to doing Molten Core or Onyxia, make damn sure you bring a full raid before doing so or people will be locked out and can't join you for a few days. |

+9 Internets | I've always wondered how it would work givin the following situation: You and your guild take down a boss and now are flagged for X number of days where u can not attempt that boss until they respawn.. but some other raid leader invites you to take part in their raid. What happens? Would their entire raid spawn in the instance where the monster is dead? Or would they spawn in the correct instance and YOU could spawn in one where the monster is dead? |

| This is annoying indeed! Its hard enough to keep people from taking a peek inside the lair after getting their key the first time, so you get this random delay while everyone is locked into their personal little instance before having a chance to raid for real. It dosnt trigger when engaging the bossmob either, it just seems to trigger by entry into the raid instance. |
