Maraudon quests with mysterious prereqs

We've been trying to figure out the prereqs for a couple of Maraudon quests but haven't had much luck so figured I'd throw it out here.

First, there's the Centaur Pariah's quest (The Pariah's Instructions). This quest involves getting an amulet which lets you kill the Khan ghosts and collect gems from them and it gets you a fairly nifty trinket (2% chance when struck in combat to give you +25 to all stats).

However, I personally can't get this quest while everyone else I know can. I did a few Desolace quests but never did much of the Gelkis/Magram war but other people that say they never did any quests in Desolace claim to have gotten the quest. Anyone know what this guy wants from whoever he'll give the quest to?

The other Quest is from Zaetar's spirit. He gives you a seed to take to the big Keeper in Moonglade and just gets you 7k xp. I got this quest after killing the Princess but nobody else I know has been able to get it (they just laugh at his little one line of text). No idea why that is.

So, has anyone here figured out what the prereqs are for these little quests by any chance (particularly the former as I'm about to destroy the five gems unless I can figure out how to get the quest)?

Are you in a raid or a normal group?

I'm not talking about quest drops or completion events. Just getting the quest.

And no, I've yet to take this character into any raid groups so even if a raid group could keep an NPC from giving you a quest it's not the issue. The trinket quest giver is outside the instance also.

Apparently, if you kill the Princess before you get the Pariah quest, it becomes unavailable. I still have yet to get the quest from Zaetar's spirit.

Damn, I was afraid it was something like that. Perhaps the seed quest is the consolation prize then and you only get it if you haven't picked up the Pariah's quest before killing the Princess.

I got the quest for the trinket after killing princess, so thats not it.

i have no idea what the problem is tho.

sorrys, that trinket is pretty sweet =(

The Pariah quest is sharable is it not? I remember sharing it with others in my group.

I'm pretty sure the Seed of Life quest is 50+. Everyone 50+ in our group was able to get it last night. The pariah is droppable off of mobs in Maraudon.

It is shareable but those that tried to share it to me were told I was ineligible for it.

As for the Seed quest, all of our party last night were over 50 and none of them were able to get the quest.

Freaky, our group livedand I can't think of any scripts that ran/didn't run during the encounter. There wasn't even the typical boss aggro one-liner.

There seems to be some sort of problem for some people. For example, I talked with a GM the other night about "The Last Element" quest from Vivian Lagrave. My normal hunting group can all get it, but I couldn't. The GM said I had all the necessary pre-requisites and he couldn't see why I couldn't get it. He forwarded the issue to the developers and whatnot, but I doubt I'm going to be able to do this quest before Vanguard comes out and I stop caring.

I was able to do the Pariah quest, but unable to do the seed quest.
