High Level WoW Quests

http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread....2&page=1&pp=25

I didn't see this posted so I felt the need to share, its a fantastic read. Make sure to read through all the pages as he gives journal updates up until page 5 I think.

Too me just reading this got me excited about high end WoW. Of course this isn't raiding but it still shows alot of promise for things to do at level 60.

No wonder it was wanged, that's a great writeup.

It does seem to be down or getting slammed at the moment. Open beta has killed or lagged the fuck out of anything relating to WoW.

Im sure it will be back up, I read bits and pieces of the thread over a few hours ago so it was working then. Check back in a little while.

Didn't want to start a new thread for such a simple question:

How many beta servers do they have now and approx how many players on each, out of curiosity?

Furor, I want to have faith in you and Tigole. Tell me that in the end the warrior changes are for the greater good and that they will best fullfil the tanking role.

I want to believe.

Cool, I largely skipped this zone in beta and look forward to doing these at retail.

They have about 40 servers now, no way to tell how many on each server but there are lagging issues now b/c they had hundreds of thousands of signups for open beta. Hopefully they add more servers, spread the load better or don't have as many people at retail.

I really hope you are right. Im really liking wow so far. Started in the final stress test. My only concern being that the game is a little too easy/fast. I realize its aimed more at the casual player but, people are going to be level 60 and burning through these quests staying up 30 hours at a time etc.. Do you think Blizzard can keep up with content for the high end?

Just read through the whole thing... hot damn. I left my Shaman at 58 shortly after BRS opened, makes me want to dust him off =)

Unfortunately it's not nearly as entertaining as the person would have you believe.

But then again, I'm a priest and Blizzard failed on every fucking level to make an interesting healing game.

At least I'm used to it I guess. I played a Necro for several years in EQ and SoE kept fucking that class up with every 'new' addition.

At least at the early levels, advancing in XP via quests has made WoW much less grind-y than other MMORPG I have played.

I would like to hope that I can get most of my XP over my characters life cycle IN CONTEXT, via quests.

That's my big beef with most other MMORPG, killing w/o context gets so mindless and numb. To me, the proverbial holy MMOPRG grail, would be to have almost 100% xp coverage to max level via quests and therefore have a storyline context.

Being told to kill 10 of XX mob actually makes you feel like you're doing something other than grinding?

The problem is, playing a healer used to -not- suck.

I mean, in principle I agree. If I go to McDonalds I'm not going to order a meal I don't like. But if I've been getting a hamburger with cheese every week for the past four months and all the sudden they start shitting all over my favorite meal, I"m gonna fucking complain.
