Wipe vs No-Wipe whining

It drives me insane, there's even a little tard who asks if beta testers get a cheaper subscription fee...
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...p=1#post526205

I want to punch all the fuckers who got into beta and somehow thinks they should get something extra for being sent that lucky mail.

I just cannot believe that blizzard would release retail without wiping everything and everyone. Not possible, not blizzard......surely not?

Just goes to show how fucking retarded bnet people are. Theyve played the game for SIX months for free. They have vast amounts of information. Yet they still want more?!

Burn these retarded fuckers at the stake!!!

People will sometimes argue for something that benefits them, but they don't necessarily think is fair.

This is one of those cases, note this and move on.

No wipe will really only affect a PvP server, but for PvE theirs no real drawbacks. It wont bother me in any way, but the least they could do is put the CB chars on a Test server to try out new content.

Honestly I could careless what they do.

Truthfully, I just as soon they don't wipe. That would be at least 20,000 less people crowding the newbie area shouting "Wow Roxxors you soxxors" and "EQ2 sucks" come November 23rd.

I have a question also: Why does every last motherfucker who starts a human have to be told where Princess spawns or where to find the bloody pulps that used to be those two guards? Can none of these tools RTFQ (Read the fine quest)? Is the quest giver giving them a specific compass direction along with another landmark just too much for the average WoW player to comprehend?

hopefully they are just not announcing the wipe yet so people will play more in the ST hoping they will get to keep the characters. it kind of makes sense as more people playing longer gives more stress to test.

They are going to wipe, they just don't want everyone to stop testing, so they havn't made an announcement.

Areas are crowded as is. Move closed beta to their own server, leave open beta and stress test final as is. Everyone had the option to play on those servers, if they didn't, whos fault is that?
Besides, PvP won't be heavily impacted by this, as there is the level barrier on PvP.

There is no level barrier. There are only safe zones. But no wipe on pvp means alliance in hillsbrad doing their 40 quests when the level 20 horde move in. That isn't going to be fun for Horde (not like Blizzard cares about them though).

If they're seriously considering not wiping, Blizzard must be confident in their end-game, since entire guilds are able to field 40 high level players in beta right now.

Uh, so those of us that decided to continue TESTING high end content on the beta servers rather than uselessly going over to the stress test servers should be slapped in the face for this?

If they're going to not wipe, then they need to announce it asap.

Oh nod I'm sure that the CB and ST servers would just be a ghost town if they announced full wipe today.

I'm on the no-wipe side, but I've only been playing for the last week so have a limited perspective. The whole "everyone starting over again in overcrowded newbie areas" makes my balls retreat into my body, I've seen far too many General chat retards in the game already in the newbie areas, it's bliss to get out to the unpopulated areas.
