Unrest for me I think

I had the best times and worst in unrest as a level 8-17 char on a pvp server :P

all ex pvpers will hit unrest.

How many players do they estimate each server can support?

What? No Inktu'Ta or Kod'Taz?

They are fucking retarded names though. Someone should kick SoE in the face for trying to lure old players back into playing by relating EQ2 to old world EQ.

There were more than 50,000 people on 3 beta servers, so server load shouldn't be a problem. It looks like they're going with at least 10k per server, which should provide good grounds for a healthy economy.

What about Paw and Solusek? And what does France have to do with Storms. Curious, curious.

I rather like how they've made the game so that each world can support a huge population.

Not with instanced Island of Refugee (where you spend the first 5 lvls or so) and instanced newbie zones in the city (up to lvl 10).

During beta they also made instances of Antonica and the commonlands, but each instance had over 100 people, so finding a group shouldn't be an issue.

Good solution - during the first few weeks those zones will be packed, but after that they're dead. Might as well use instanceing to help with the initial mass-slaughter. As long as they don't limit the numbers too low you won't even notice it's instanced. When zoning to Commonlands, for example, you might see a list of "commonlands 1, 2, 3", makes it easy to get to the instance your friends are in. I wouldn't expect more instances than that tho, it was with like 20k people and most of them low level.

Christ, some people are overly critical. Am I the only one who doesn't give two shits about what the servers are named?

original city names would have been far superior choice. Kelethan, ogguk, Halas, etc
