WoW Racial Traits?

Have they said what the racial traits are gonna be yet? I was googling and I found this.

Cannibalize Cannibalize (Racial Undead) "When activated, increases Health

*If* that list correct, Humans and Night Elves got fucking screwed, and gnomes will own in PvP against some classes unless Escape Artist has a longish cooldown timer.

Where did you find these exactly? Anyway, if they are for real I don't like them very much. I was hoping any racial traits would be a little more toned down and less geared towards combat, more fluff than stuff is what I was hoping for I suppose.

I am not too comfortable with tying racial traits in so tightly with specific classes. Most people who want to play hunters or warlocks are going to pick orcs by default, and those who did not know any better will level up only to find out that they got the arbitrary shaft based on race. I thought that Blizzard wanted to avoid that conundrum? Overall I am pretty skeptical concerning the veracity of this list.

Canabilize would rule (especially if you can use it on player corpses...here gnomey gnomey....)...but that better not be the only damn trait ;/

And I agree those orc-command ones seem a little too pigeon-holed. "If you arent an orc, you are a sux hunter or warlock".

The night-elf thing is actually a good idea. It just means when you become a ghost, you are a wisp and you move really fast so you can run back to your corpse sooner.

I seem to remember seeing icons for cannibilism and a few other things on the list written in korean from a really really early WoW beta.

Sure, as long as we become "kinda, but not really, Undead" and are no longer affected by Shackle, Turn, and anything else Priests/Paladins have for anti-undead spells. Right now the vulnerabilities are far greater a hindrance than the immunities are a benefit, enough so that I'm planning to be a troll instead in release because being undead isn't worth it.

Especially since the whining Alliance fags who can't kill something they aren't able to fear or sheep even when the other guy is massively vulnerable to two of their most common classes are pretty much guaranteed to get undead some sort of nerf.

What about stat increases balanced with races? Will a Gnome be as strong as a Tauren by default, or will there just be racial abilities?

It's rather amusing how the evil faction players are screaming they are the elite ones and the good guys the suckers again. It's really such a predictable phenomenon. Interesting how an evil race or faction has the potential to attract exactly the type of personalities that are prone to come up with statements like this.

Such a load of bullshit. turn undead is nothing but fear, except paladins are the only ones that can fear you instead of warrior\warlocks. Shackle undead? omg root that breaks awhen any sort of damage is done to the target. Ooo a 15sec recast nuke that is no different then shadowburn without the regent cost. Let's not mention every other form of cc that is available to the other class work on alliance. Again, what a load of bullshit.

Listen faggot, it's whiners like you that get laughed at by people with half a brain. Undead immunities are a small price to pay for Paladin vs. Undead vulnerability, and since, last time I saw, it was something like TWENTY FIVE PERCENT Paladin on your side that's not too bad, considering Priests have a good time as well. OH MY FUCKING GOD not fear and sleep immunity!!! WHAT WILL WE DO!?!?!??!?

Heh, in closed beta the alliance were the bad guys.

Many of the players on the horde side were playing on horde because they wanted to be on the losing team(Inc me)
