I liked it better when the page gave the impression that PR was still L40, and the kodo was just the L60 mount. That would've been enough to make me play a too-large cow rather than troll or undead.

Uh, not to derail this thread, but where the fuck are my characters at the character select screen? I didn't know they had these kind of problems in the game still. GD and I have all this time to play.

perfect, i called this shit like a year ago. plainsrunning always seemed a little *ahem* plain to me. the rumour that tauren would be getting down on all fours and running around seemed novel but kodos are such a better idea.

Am I the only one who thinks that this sucks? I am seriously going to miss plainsrunning. Especially in conjunction with rocket boots. A seemless trainsition from combustion powered fleeing to fullspeed plainsrunning was really damn useful. It'd be fine with me if at level 60 the epics were kodos.

I figure the reason for this was to give Tauren "better" racial traits. Which I can understand, as saving 100g for a mount isn't much of a racial trait in comparison to whatever advantage other races will be getting. Ugh, I woulda have paid the 100g just to learn Plainsrunning and let it be a flavorful difference.

Oh well, I just hope the Tauren racial traits are worthwhile.

Totally agree.. plainsrunning was just so useful, theres so many instances where it wouldn't be worth it to summon a mount but PR was just a single click.

Having it as an alternative to PR if you wanted would of been fine, I liked PR =/

Anyone got a screenshot of a plainsrunning Tauren ? aka on all 4 ?

Thought they never implemented an animation for that, and I can only imagine that the player characters would look rather stupid in all their gear goin into 4 mode.
