Most FUN class in WoW

I'm trying to decide which class to play in WoW. For those who have extensive beta testing experience, which class do you feel is the most fun to play? I realize "fun" is subjective, but I'm trying to get a feel for which class has the most nuances that just makes it extremely fun to play.

Shamans seem to have the most interesting role in combat.

They appear to be similar to bards on both paper and in game.

Rogue's are great, but i feel after hunters have their talents they may do considerably more damage than rogues, with some talents to up their range damage and critical rate, its highly possible.

If most fun = doing the most damage, then mages would be #1 unless warlocks overtook them with their talent patch (I stopped playing WoW about 2 months ago, so unsure). Since it only takes about 5 days playtime to get to 60, you need to base DPS effectiveness on what is critical in instances, and that's AE. Mages also have the cool polymorph that just owns the crap out of sap.

Hmm i duno, i played a mage to L30 then i went rogue, and havent looked back once. Besides a rogue with proper poison's would so own a mage. I like to scout, pick locks, and start a remorsless chain of non stop 1600 backstabs on weaker mobs, Its not as effective as a mage's AE but its good enough as long as i get last hit on a mob.

I've heard many of testers in game say the shaman is the most fun class to play, but I've never tried him out so I couldn't say. The priest is not the MOST fun but isn't bad. You never have to worry about groups for instances and pvp is very chalenging because you're usually the first target, only problem is leveling. I'd say warrior is the most fun though. I love all his diffrent skills and i think the most fun is once every 30 minutes you can use recklessness which makes every attack a critical for 15 seconds at the cost of loseing 30% of your armor. So every 30 minutes I get to watch my guy solo 3-4 mobs higher lvl than me or pk another chacter that's about 5 - 6 lvls higher than me. I also likes the mage becuz he could port around, running is not fun so I have more fun avoiding what's not fun.

Guild-Leader. I start a joke guild for two friends of mine, and within a month people I haven't heard from since Coterie Nocturne back on CT are messaging me asking me if we're taking recruits.

But seriously. Priest is fun from about lvl 40 on, but before that the class was so obscenely boring. I think just because once you get past 40 you start getting talents and items that really help with downtime, which is the major killer at lower levels.

Priest is one of the few classes that needs to rest inbetween every kill pre-20, but like, never needs to rest post-50.

Why shaman? I couldn't get into mine, just seemed like a boring semi-utility class. Totems? zzz. Hunter/warlock/rogue for "fun" imo.

Hearthstone 4x as often without needing the item.
Wolfform (aka movement buff) at level 14.
Can do virtually anything (healing, nuke, melee).
Good against elites.
Good PvE.
Good PvP.
Waterwalk.
Even as a caster equipment is still an upgrade. Hell they can use Ironfoe.
Totems for whatever you feel like doing.

What's not to like?

I kinda dismayed that the Hunter isn't even in the running. I was seriously considering playing one for release.

Is it due to the fact that they haven't received their talents yet? Or is the class, as a whole, just not particularly interesting? The whole pet thing seems very cool -- at least from the viewpoint of an observer looking at one.

Well for fun, you cant go wrong with Warlock!

-We can jump to our deaths and self-res!

-We can spy on n00bs with our eyeball while we wait for a zepplin

-We can summon a sex demon

-We can make enemy players talk in demonic language

Now what is more fun then that? ;P
