| yeah, as others have mentioned this must be the real thing. The downloader is named world_of_warcraft_open_beta_downloader.exe. Glad I live so close to work, walked home and started the DL on my lunchbreak. I uninstalled the previous version too as this appears to be a completely new client; if not I still have the old installer backed up. |

| What about these files, Patch-1.MPQ and Patch-2.MPQ found in the data folder? Those two files are taking up several gigabytes as well and I need to free space to download the new client. |

| Obviously blizzard is having issues transitioning from closed to open beta. Hopefully they will fix this soon because damnit i wanna play WoW!!

| Getting around 70..why would they make us download a whole new thing? Did they dramatically change coding or the game in some way or maybe they are just including the latest patch in this install too?

  | Anybody feeling extra nice and want to give me the URL to the downloader? Would like to get a headstart on the download so I can have it pulled down and ready to go incase I can get into Stress Test 2. (A PM would be great!)

| Thanks Physics Theory. Maybe I'll get a Stress Test 2 account sometime in the next 2 days, so I'll be ready to play by the time the download finishes.
