Personally I think people who hate on WoW or hate on EQ2 aren't likely to be happy with any new MMO.

At the time Everquest was as close to the game I had always wanted. Now what I'm looking for is that game with more GAMEPLAY. You know, shit to do while you are inside of the game. And WoW is good, but there can always be better.

The primary reason why I like WoW over other MMO's is that you are much more active during combat. And if you've played it to a reasonable level, you can't argue that.

That doesen't mean I can't find faults elsewhere, but they aren't going to make or break the game for me.

100% what Kreugen said.

I found myself not liking WoW after a little while of playing. I then was wondering to myself why and it all had to do with not having my old friends with me and not raiding. The game wasn't at fault I was.

And thank the lord for that fact =). Life would be rather boring if we had "the best" hehe.

WoW gets overanalyzed just like the rest of the MMORPGS that get assraked across the coals on this board.

If retards didnt overhype WoW so god damn much you wouldnt have this problem. The game isnt the second coming of christ like people thought it would be.

I think that is the #1 reason right there. Thousands of people talked about it like it was the best thing since porn and 90% of them had never played it.

Thing to remember is this... It doesnt matter how good a game is or not someone with ALWAYS find the negitive with it... and this is FoH boards, drama was born here

Thanks for the contribution.

Honestly, I don't recall reading this much bullshit from the many mouth-breathers that have <30 posts in three years. It's getting me nethers excited. Your contributions mean so much.

READ THE GOD DAMNED FINE PRINT, DIMWIT.

It is not the over analyzing of this game that's pushing the venom through my streams.

It is, however, the men who wish to extrapolate so deeply on one of the finer, more intricate points of the game, to include us all in on some hidden factual observation (which may or may not be accurate), in a vain attempt to illuminate the rest of us dolts as to the prowess of their analytical skills.

What that means is dipshits will type eighty-seven thousand word posts to get their rocks off when someone gets up the courage to type "he's soo rite i meen omg".

So, in essence, I'm right and you are wrong. Although that's not the point of this thread, we can take it there if you want to.

Ta,

I just typed my train of thought as it came out. No refining, no real organization. I made no mistake of assuming I was right. It was an observation, not a sermon. Is it cool when someone agrees with me? Of course. Is it cool when someone disagrees with me? Yup, provided they can explain why. Facts and Truth don't come from information and observations based on the efforts of just one person.

As for why I would analyize such a specific thing, you have to understand that I review games. Like, for real. I spend a lot of time writing over-arching examinations of games in their whole. I can' t start going into detailed observations of specific parts of the game because the review would get too long, but the desire to do so is still there. So I do it here, and other places.

Because we don't need to nit-pick to find flaws in EQ2.

Also because over-analyzing would break the NDA, unless we analyzed a character model.

True, neither do we need to nit-pick to find flaws in WoW.
