WoW Stress test extended until Sunday.

We are extending the stress test beta to this Sunday and adding thousands of additional testers from the group of gamers that are currently on the closed-beta waiting list. Invitation emails have started going out to the new testers already. The stress test beta contest will continue on until the end of the stress test beta, at which time all stress test accounts will expire.
Please do not contact Blizzard to inquire about being added to the stress test beta; all the information needed, such as how to access the stress test beta, will be provided in the email going out to new testers.

Thanks to the stress testers, the development team has gained a great deal of information that is proving to be extremely valuable in the development of World of Warcraft. By extending the stress test beta, we will be able to gather even more useful data, which will help us ensure a smooth launch for World of Warcraft later this year. Thanks again, and we'll see you online!

Heres hoping I got one of those few thousand slots.

I STILL didn't get accepted into the stress test. If anybody gets any extra invites (already in stress test and just got a new e-mail) will kiss mucho ass for the new key. PM wit inf0z.

Yeah, can you still sign up for stress-test? I mean I've tried for beta, will they send emails to them? Or only Stress test players?

from what i understand, they just took more folks from the beta sign up waiting list, and sent out more invites for the stress test. I assume that most folks that got a duplicate email were in the stress test by using the fileplanet cd keys? well, i think blizzard sent out keys to it's next people on the beta invite list to be invited to the stress test.

So, if you got an email from blizzard, i believe you are on top of the beta list and could be invited with thier next round of testers.

That's just my guess anyway

I really doubt that "high on the beta list" theory. No logical reason, really, just trying to contain my own hopes.

I'd wager that it is random not a numbered list anyway. Fun to toy with your own hopes though.

After hearing about this I saw a thread on the blizzard forums to end the contest to get into closed beta. Those faggots with no lives and already 30+ said blizzard should end it because its unfair to them because it allows people with lives to have a chance at winning.

I hope to fucking god those 13 year old bnet kiddies arent allowed to use their mom's CC and play WoW.

I received my invite to the stress test this morning at 7:45AM PST.

Added note: I only signed up for the original beta invite. I never signed up with Fileplanet.

that's how i got mine. I never signed up at fileplanet. they also say that this doesn't affect your chances at a closed beta slot later on.

Just as an aside, I'm really surprised (perhaps naively) at the utter lack of knowledge and skill of the average WoW player. I figured most would be MMORPG vets.
