Living in Norway i am not part of the beta, so i haven't had a chance to test the WoW beta.

That being said i thought the whole point of having a long beta test was to try out things, slowly introduce new things, and tweak the game all the way up until final release.

When i read people that some people are worried about all the changes i start to wonder if those people have understood the overall point of a beta in the first place?

Based on all earlier releases from Blizzard i have every faith that they will do their best to release a great game, and no matter what is happening during beta i think people should bring forward their concern AFTER the game has been released.

And you're stupid. New rogue talents let you act as if you're 5 levels higher than your level for stealth purposes. Yes, in the past, you couldn't, because your damage was gimped.
Congrats on taking my quote out of context. Had you bothered to read my entire post, you would have noticed I was talking about last patch. Instead, you just grabbed any lines you could quote to fuel your name-calling rant. Great job. Makes you look worse than the people you where childishly trying to insult.

now I just train through places on my mount and don't give a shit who I run through to get where I'm going. If they are in the way, too bad.
At least that tells us what kind of person you are.

Do I think Rogues are overpowered now? Yes. Do I think the Mage nerfs went to far? Yes. Should Mages have Invis at all? Maybe. Should NPCs/PCs have more ways available to them to detect invisibility and Stealth? Absolutely.

Hehe, whatever your name is, I hate Ehiopian Alliance Mages (the IRL kind of Ethiopian, not the kind that has emerged post-patch). Vorph asked me and I answered. Believe it or not, if you're playing the game, you know that there actually is some difference between the factions population-wise. You have plenty of all kinds on each side, naturally. God forbid in a two-faction game you make statements about a faction -- even when you are saying "most of my experience with such-and-such has been with faction X." I would comment on your intelligence level but that's a tad played out right now, innit.

Kreugen -- have pity on us po' folk. We don't always play with smart people. Good mages are invaluable with groups, but Bog can testify having been in a number of pick-up dungeon groups with me that we have had some tremendous fortune with mages. God forbid I get a group where we can all play at a high level, I might have a fucking heart-attack. Being able to build up rage between pulls sounds like some kind of utopian dream.

When this discussion started the servers weren't up. Obviously Rogues are overpowered right now. I don't care if they're now more powerful than mages, I'm sure it can be fixed, and I stand by the statement that each has had it coming. But being basically 'the new mages' is wrong. I hear they have higher burst DPS and sustained DPS. Jesus, it must suck to have your identity stolen by another class, eh mages? Be sure to cry about it some more.

One fix that needs to go in is Feint should not add combo points (or, for PvE, reduce threat) when the mob is stunned, pacified, or slept. You should still be able to do it to allow for some energy wasting. That's one of the foundations of the pain right now. And I'm thinking Cold Blood needs a longer cooldown.

Beyond that what we have right now is a situation where Rogues are unrivaled first-class DPS and second-class CC, while mages are unrivaled first-class CC and second-class DPS. It aint EQ, but it aint exactly gonna be pickup hell for the poor magey-poos.

As far as "giving a rat's ass" I'm not sure it makes a difference in the case of a rat's ass, since it is most likely now on the loot tables I'm sure it will be given out as a sign of indifference everywhere. "I couldn't care less" is not entirely different but it certainly makes more of a difference whether you could, couldn't, would or would not.

Finally, on the subject of chest exploits -- hahahahahahaha what a bunch of hypocrites. So it was all right to be one of the 2 1/2 classes who could do it before, but it is not all right for only Rogues to be able to do it...hohohohoho
