+12 Internets | (WoW) Quest Sharing. -------------------- Sharing Quests You will now be able to share your quests with your entire party. To utilize this option, you’ll need to open your quest log, select a quest, and press the “Share Quest” button. All members of your party will then be presented with the quest as though you were the quest-giving NPC. Some restrictions: You’ll only be able to share with party members. Party members will have to be nearby when you share. Party members will have to meet the prerequisites of the quest. For example, if you’re on step 2 of a quest and your friend is still on step 1, you won’t be able to give your friend a “shortcut” to step 2. Quests generated from items cannot be shared. ------------------ http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread....#post2419346Is Is this as good as it sounds? I'm not in beta(yet...) |

| Sounds really good, but the "range" thing to the other person scares me. Do they have to be near you the whole time or what? Would suck if you finished a quest then got oor of that person one way or another and lost the whole damn thing. |

+9 Internets | mmmmh... step in the right direction but baby step it seems.... There are several reasons someone does not have the same quests than you: 1) He allready did the quest 2) He has yet to complete a previous quest in the line 3) He does not have the level to obtain the quest 4) He was able to get the quest, but did not get it for some reason (full quest log at the time, did not see the NPC, did not bother, etc...). Sounds like this new system only adresses the fourth situation, which I would guess is the least common of the four. EDIT: Oh! You can add 5) He did not get ahold of the quest-giving item... but the point still stands.

| Often times quests send you to totally different places, so being able to give someone else an obscure quest from somewhere is pretty cool. Example: Blue Pearls quests originates in Badlands and sends you to the Vile Reef in Stranglethorn. |

+14 Internets | Hey every little bit counts. Like for instance, the first time I did SFK, I didnt know about the Book of Ur quest. A feature like this would have saved me some time ![]()

| Sounds like a good idea to me. "Whoa where did you find THAT quest?!" "It was from an NPC way over in xxx." "Aww man, that is so far away." "No problem, here join my group for a minute and I can give you the quest." Will save people travel time and headaches when they just want to go out and do some quest with friends. On the other hand I can picture some people using it to make money. "New quest from this patch! NPC in secret location. Willing to teach you the quest for a mere 5g! PST!" Uuuugh, I can already picture it. Worthwhile addition overall though. |

| AO had store-bought items that allowed you to dupe mission-keys, to allow others to receive the same mission/reward when they first opened. It's not new. But more games should use it. At least someone is paying attention at Blizzard. |

| woot, that has to mean they're working in that cool Cosmos Quest Share button. Not being able to quickly browse a full-group quest log to find common quests/check progress was vaguely irritating. I remember my 3rd or so night I was trotting around Mulgore, and duo'd with a guy who just plain didn't believe in telling me what his quest progress was at. It was kinda like having a NPC shaman following me...I just said "welp, bye" after awhile. |
