OoW Beta Registration Open

I figured that Blizzard had no NDA for the good marketing they would get out of it. People like me are gizzing at the chance to play, and checking their email daily for that beta invite ( which probably won't ever show, dammit )
Why on Earth Sony would allow screenshots and talk about their newest crapfest, which will undoubtably be on blast, and in all likelyhood hurt their sales, is beyond me.

Apparently amidst your prepubescent angst, you forgot to read the post! Here, I'll clarify, try to keep up.
1. If your product is good, then you want people to talk about it. This is "good marketing".
2. If your product is crap, you want as many people to buy it up before the gaming magazines and, in this case, popular and highly influential guilds/players tell the public what it is like.
Thus, I am insinuating that the new EQ expansion is going to suck. Like it inevitably will.

As much as I fondly maintain several happy memories of EQ, and as much as I have issues with several aspects of WoW, I still can't help but agree with this.
