WoW - Hunter Info

Has any had a chance to play a hunter yet? I've read a little bit here and there. Any thoughts on the class as of yet?

The class is allegedly coming with the next patch, so I suppose people are getting excited. But no, they're not live yet.

I remember a guy who bitched for 4 years about how classes had too many abilities spread out, and not enough focus on one or two. Now that he's in a position to actually do something about it....

He calls it a "treat". Mmmhmm.

There's a word for people who take money and do whatever is asked of them, no matter how badly it compromises their principles.

I'd pay good money to not hear anymore Ex-EQ uberguild hype.

But then what would be left?

It really fucking sucks because this group of people including Tigole could have REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE in the MMORPG market. Instead, they swallow what they're given and do their best to convince everyone else it tasted good. They have no interest in improving the flavor, merely disguising it. These kids were so shellshocked at being realized by a gaming company they completely forgot why they wanted to be there in the first place.

It honestly is a huge shame. Every single week we see people praise WoW, then damn the lack of MMORPG innovations in new games, all in the same breath. Wake up.

I might be the only one not wanting this class in the game. Currently hunter NPC’s are A LOT harder to kill then any other mob; even the ones that don’t have pets are hard. I don’t know if Ranged attack is still messed up but I was killed the other day by a level 36+ hunter mob as a level 41 mage. He was hitting me for 300+. I will hate to see everyone lay this class on the PvP server if they are this powerful.

Jait what the fuck ? What is wrong with giving classes a lot of things to do? Then multiple people can play the same class differently and effectively (if they are good). Granted the balancing has to be 100% perfect (which it isn't a lot of the time), but it's a good thing...just like talents where you can't max all talents so depending on playstyle/preference two people of the same class will be different...that was a bad thing about EQ and AA with enough time you could Max yourself out and you are no different then any other cleric who maxed himself/herself out.
Then you whine about Tigole being a whore? Misplaced h8 fa sho.

"Hunter mobs" (ranged mobs) are the anti-mage mob. Surely you didn't think you were going to get by in WoW effortlessly killing every mob you encounter by burning them down before they get in more than 2 casts, or get within melee range of you, did you?

I'd suggest you revise your strategy when fighting ranged mobs.
