I confirmed the "froglok rumour" hours ago. And shit, I was actually told about the pre-order thing. I think it might let you reserve your name.

what you posted didnt confirm anything. It's called a rumor. This is proof and real confirmation. Also, the fact that you knew that people would get the disc today is wonderful, but its news to a lot of people.

If it lets you reserve your name I might do it. Otherwise I don't see the point since the "estimated release date" was moved from late august to early september to november 12th or something.

If I can't use the character, I don't really get wood over creating him~

Actually, yes it did, because the producer told me, and then showed me the screen. If that's not solid confirmation I have no clue what it is. Maybe I should've video'd me doing some sort of dance while the producer TOLD YOU.

The event to unlock frogloks had better involve the trolls getting the living shit kicked out of them again, otherwise it just won't be the same.

Nah, the Frogloks are going to time travel to the future from gukta. To complete the event it will take one guild on both EQ1 and EQ2 working together to build a wormhole.

Does noone else question the business ethics of giving in game items or rewards via pre-order? I mean, it's no worse then giving beta slots to Legends peeps or to Lords of EQ peeps, but it's no better either me thinks. Sorry if I have brought this up once or twice before =)

i think its gay. Even if its a token item that does nothing. Whats the point. Just leave in game shit out of real life promotions. They should of ended it with the CD. If they're real jboots that function just like jboots do in EQ that would be unreal. I just cant imagine they would be that stupid. Must be like something with 5 or 10 charges.
