That article is written like some sort of stalker-ly journal entry, but it's an interesting development if true, though I kind of doubt it based on the article.

The thing that bugs me is his supposed statement from Blizzard is a little coarse, with such remarks as "more cat-ass" and "the shit to hit the fan". That just doesn't sound very professional, and therefore, not the kind of thing I'd expect someone who's job it is to respond to e-mails like this.

Stands out as fake-ish, but hey, you never know.

no no no, Furor (aka Gary Gygax) had left over quests from his MMORPG after he decided to take a different approach. Blizzard got with Furor and worked out a deal where he would work those quests into WoW. I think there are 54 of them.

*sits on his picnic blanket with his food waiting for Furor's return*

Let me save us all a lot of time since in the span of 1 hour this has been posted and X-posted on about 5 boards:

Page1

Furor has a real life, he got a job, if the rumors are true. So maybe Quests will still have just as many typos, but at least a player for players are writing them now!

Page2

Furor will give l33t beta infoz to his guild and upset the entire game, I'm not playing!!

10 pages later

Yeah he was hired as Vice-President, he will control most aspects of the game and will spawn the choicest of mobs and hand out loot to his guild.
-------

EQ was designed by an avid MUD players. And many of those hired on the original MMORPG teams were also avid players.

Abashi's fat ass even got a job, and anyone who knew him in the day would have put the odds at that at about 90-1

So grats to all those players who have moved on to work in the industry. Story over.

Don't worry, you've still got me.

I've made some suggestions about how to do some better missions in CoH, but my threads got no loving Too bad I don't have a few old MUD zones anymore, i'd bust out hardcore questing on j00

Ugh, anyuzer. That guy's ego makes me lurch.

Now, I’ve read some of Furor’s fiction writing and it’s not that great. I’m not going to be an English teacher and rip it apart, that's just mean.
Sounds like a self-important high school student that gets A's on his English papers. Giving a shit about comma splices doesn't make you a genius, bro. On the net most people will settle for capitalization and punctuation.

Stop linking him, for the love of god. Even if his shit is true, I'd rather hear it through some other grapevine.

Last I heard, Furor was in Afhanistan on a black op after doing a brief stint with the SAS while assiting UN troops secure the Georgian uprising.

I think Mel Gibson is still pissed he turned down the lead in the Passion though.

That is the absolute lamest site I've ever seen. I'm sorry I didn't get those 4 minutes back perusing it.

I wonder what the damage/delay is on a 9 inch palm nail.
Does it count as a claw?
