| As far as we know, its horde vs. alliance. That means human+dorf+gnome+elf vs. orc+tauren+troll+undead. There is no x-teaming. They also mentioned that PVP on a large scale will occur, on regular servers at least, within a level specific instance. No lvl 50s ganking hordes of 20s.

| A recent post by Katricia implied that a couple of PvP features will be in WoW (unfortunately I haven't found the post): 1. Battlegrounds (basically instanced pvp) - previously "announced" 2. PvP servers. The post was a reply to some whiner on the beta boards. In essense the reply said that "we won't know such and such until such time as PvP battlegrounds or a beta PvP server are active". Not a direct quote but pretty accurate in spirit. Sounds like PvP servers will be in so everyone should be happy, PvErs and PvPrs alike. |

| I'm looking forward to seeing what Battlefields are like. With Instances they should be able to do some fun and cool stuff. I'd imagine there to be terrain changes, for example. Ground blowing up, dirt scattering, trees falling, buildings crumbling, etc... |

| actually, terrain deformation done right, like most graphical things done right, can look good and not result in video lag, I direct your attention to Myth: the Fallen Lords, a game with a physics engine better than anything I've experienced since, but I'm nostalgic and biased ![]() |

| This game could become the best damn thing since sliced bread if they implement the battlefields right. DAOC was a DAMN fun game because of the Realm vs Realm battles. If they could just take that, make it slightly better, they would have solid gold bricks in a box. |

+37 Internets | Agreed. Even though I don't play DAoC anymore, my favorite portion by far was RvR. I loved being the healer and rezzing everyone left and right in a frenzy to beat back the enemy from our Keep. Fun times, fun times.
