It's true enough, games shouldn't be so geared to those who have free time. I'm not being biased about that either, I have oodles of free time. Developers should more emphasize that people play well, rather than they play a long time.

Case in point: becoming a jedi in SWG. Having to level up 3 other random classes that might include hairdresser, farmer, or dancer is a level of cat-assing that is unspeakable. And I am sure the worst of it is yet to be seen.

I've actually had the pleasure of playing with him for 1-2 years when I played UO. Back then we were in a guild that he and his room mate started called the Imperium(Napa Valley server), we governed and ruled a small piece of land south of Trinsic. He's an extremely skilled player, as he often took down 4-5 pk's coming at him and still coming out alive. Later down the line I quit UO and started playing EQ. When I started reading about UO again, I found out that he had become the Lead designer of UO.

It's good to hear that he's moved on to WoW. He's a good guy.
