If you dig Fallout

If you like this game and the DA series, you may also want to check out Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

It uses an engine similar to the suped up engine that Realms of Everquest uses, just set in the Fallout universe of course.

I beat it with a friend all 3 times i have a 44 SK and he has a 43 Wizard. i really was hoping for a special "Bonus" for beating it on all 3. I hope they make a sequel where it has.... well i guess more freedom of creation like everquest and more variety as far as the dungeons go, the less linear the better..

Yeah, Dark Alliance was trying to steal Baldur's Gate thunder. Meh, dunno why they didn't just call it Forgotten Realms: Dark Alliance...

I've heard of this happening. Do you have one of the original release PS2's? They have trouble with the dual layered discs. Other then buying a new PS2 try cleaning the lense thoroughly, seemed to solve the problem for most people.

My ps2 is less than 2 years old, and I've done all the cleaning of the disc/twisting of the white gear crap to try and get it to work. Most frustrating aspect of it is that the faggots on the CON tech support forums seem to get offended if you don't go out and buy a new PS2 to run this game.

Meh.

I'll go trade it for UT2k4 I guess.

Seems hit and miss with the game. I have a first-release PS2 and CoN has never had a problem.

as with neverwinter nights, the crappy, forced, short-length birdseye view drove me crazy. i would have enjoyed it a lot more if i could have sloped down the view angle another 20 degrees or so so i could actually see what's in front of me.

Name Recognition. I'd bet a lot more console gamers have heard of Baldur's Gate then Forgotten Realms. Which means more $$ to the suits if they use Baldur's Gate

My one gripe about it is it seems they rushed online play.
