When will you understand ? casual players don't like new content, they don't like figuring out stuff, they just don't have time to do so. So they will go camp in GoD zone they will know that mob X pop at loc Y, that the PH is X' , and they can expect 1 loot every Z hour in average, and by doing so they will get about W AA / hours. Once this knowledge will be widespread, those zones will be camped.
I remember when I xped in LoIO a short while after Kunark's release how there would be 3 - 10 people in zone, and 3 months after there were like 60+ every day.
How many people were doing hard LDoN 3 weeks after LDoN release ? how long did it took for random people (not in a leading guild) to go there ? On my server like 4 months for them to realise how good war the loot there for the difficulty.

He's absolutely correct. I played in a raiding guild in my beginning exposure to EQ, but once I got married I dropped down to a casual gamer and that is the formula I and my friends used.

You can do almost as well in the sewers in GoD. Mobs may hit harder than fire or earth but they miss more and have half the hp so they die faster.

Yea - Packrat shaves off 2 lbs for every rank. So if you max packrat, you lose 10 lbs.

I was with a group (mage, SK, rogue, cleric, druid and bard) in barindu farming the inside of the pyramid and we were getting an AA every 45-50 minutes. I am not in a raiding guild and have never set foot in any EP so I can't compare besides just giving the time it took to get a point down in GoD.

In addition to the AA, we killed the named twice and got a shitty hood BUT could have gotten the new spells (we were just unlucky). In addition to the spell-possibilities, we were there to get one of the keys for the Manacle quest, which results in this neato sash. Not good for you time people, but really really really good for us non-raiders.

I <3 GoD.
