| New Poll The new poll when you log into EQ is if you would like EQ on 10 CDs or 2 DVDs. I guess its going to be a big game, eh? If they put it on DVDs, alot of people(myself included) won't be able to play the game. Wonder how many other people won't be able to play, who wanted too, that no can't if they put it on DVDs.

| Give me a break. You can afford to upgrade/buy a machine that can run EQ2, with the DX9 pixelshader minimum vid card requirement, and the P4 2.5 or whatever minimum proc spec, but you're too cheap/unable to spring for a $40 DVD-ROM drive? I think that's more your problem than Sony's, frankly. FFS, who in their right mind would want to swap through 10 friggin' CDs just to install the game, even once? It's not like folks are going to be busting out their legacy, Win 98 systems with 256 MB ram and that zippy GF2 in order to play. It's about time all game producers moved into the current age when it comes to games. If your game requires a $400 processor and a $400 video card and 12 GB of drive space to play, boys, it's okay to also ask that the end user have a DVD ROM drive. Really. |

| What I think is funny is they're designing this game for the casual gamers somewhat, but I bet like 80% of them aren't gonna have the system to even run the friggin game to any worthwhile degree. -=[ Thug ]=- |

| I feel that they should relase both - some are going to buy the DVD version and others are going to buy the CD version. The problem arises if they produce only DVDs - not everyone has a DVD drive or is willing to buy one. |

| You can build a system that would destroy those minimum specs for 1200 dollars. Come on get a second job for a month.
