Where are the new AA titles?!

this is sort of a whine. but also a request for people to feedback abotu somethign asthetic and silly as :

ok... in luclin we got class titles.,. great at 42 aa you got it and then what, you can get another 500-600 aa now and still have same title, they should add in a way to either

* see someone's AA

* people can show off to each other better, what else is this game about, do you play solo and dont talk to anyone? whats the point of playing then.?????????


* (important) people who lie about AA ... cant lie as much anymore ! like.. someone recruiting to a big guild cant claim they have 600 aa, when they only have 100 sort of thing. this would be very interesting

your post wasn't all that coherent Davood, but I do remember the good old days before dyes where folks could be the first kids on the block with the latest Fear/Hate gear or Trak BP and so forth. It was part of the fun and mystique of the end game in the old days, and while achieving AA titles early were also a nice thing to take pride in, they didn't seem to have the same mystique.

Personally I would like to see more titles in the game, but not limited like they were in SoL. It took my 190+ before I even hit exarch. Why? because class AA's took a backseat to Arch and PoP AA's.

Would titles every 100 or so AA's be cool? Yes, would titles obtained only if you spend AA's on friviolus abilities be cool? No.

Would be nice if you get 5 pct bigger for every 100 AAs , so a 500 AA character is nearly a third bigger than a sub 100 AA character. Just an idea =)

Dunno about anyone else these days but I play with firstnames only just because anything else seems to cluttered especially with people who insist on a) having long ass names and b) are in guilds with excessively long ass names.

Some random examples culled from eqrankings

Keyline Wintermystic/Order of the Golden Staff
Moseby Dirtysouth/Kindred Spirit Guardians
Basharteg Burzmali/New Elements of Power

So while it might be kinda cool to have the titles for the most part I'd never see them anyway (so it wouldn't add much.) Or if I did it'd be turn on full names take a glance and check and then turn them right back off.

If something like this were implemented I'd much prefer to see it as some sort of character linked particle effect/look change than anything else. Like maybe the more AA a druid had the greener his skin and hair got regardless of his race/shade. The more AA a cleric got the more visible (less see through) some halo over his head got .. Could have it glow/emit light after a certain point too, could have wizzies hair start flaming, etc all sorts of things, you could even have multiple things for each class and let somebody pick which one they wanted just like facial features.

Shrug, there's better ways to do this than with new titles (granted new titles would be the easiest thing for them to implement.

Yup, only play with first names anyway, so I don't really care about AA titles. Unless it changes our class title(like on /who all), most people won't even see it.

The easy way would simply to change the char name color since currently it's only blue/red for the PvP flag and Green for the team...

But honestly, even if there are grow spells, even if we spend most of our time shrinked... the size thing is cool haha

Titles are tough btw since you can't find that many way to say the same thing :/ the current class name are allready odd enough :P But I definitly like the idea of having a little something that shows at first sight what your level of AAs is.
