| Lineage 2 beta sign up and classes Was nice read over at the newly revamped lineage 2 site. there class balance is looking interesting on paper. they finally became the first game to realise sword SHIELD> 2 small knives in terms of tanking. Knights are the tanks while warrrios are main masters of dps. they condensed the number of classes greatly which i feel will make balance alot easier. fewer classes more diversity > lots of classes waterd down with every a touch of every power. may look like its worth playing now. beta sign up aswell is open |

| They still have a buttload of classes but they at least differentiate much later in your character career and really seem more like minor variations on certain themes than truly diversified classes which might be a good thing. Check out Warcry's Skill list to see the class progression (and click on em to see their skills/spells). Some of the choices seem kind of odd to me. Such as how Elven pet casters have unicorns for pets and Human pet casters are all about cute kitties apparently. I'd prefer my pets to be a bit more butch than that but maybe that's just me. The reviews I've heard have been pretty mixed as well but it's probably worth giving a whirl until WoW at least. Last edited by Khalikryst : 01-21-2004 at 09:38 AM. |
