No, although I do have hopes of getting an invitation soon. I have participated in their contests and been posting since mid '02. As of this moment i'm very suspicious of the game (rumored March release date when beta began in December?) If they don't hold an open beta for me to see everything for myself I know not to touch it for 6 months. NCSoft might've just gotten tired of sitting on Cryptic's bill for so long, and trying to pull an SOE on us. Maybe all the powers and subsets are working great though. Just pray to jebus that the testers haven't all chosen to be Wolverine. Last edited by Iannis : 01-11-2004 at 12:07 PM.

Bleh, I'm in beta but I was looking for someone to travel around with. Haven't met any EQ people yet, would be nice to have someone with a simmilar background to chill with. Alot of people in beta aren't big gamers, more comic fans. You'll be happy there aren't too many Wolverine characters around Everyone is prety unique and taking an original character and role.

I'm also registered since Oct. 2001, so far it's real fun. Character creation is off the hook, honestly. I spent almost an entire beta session just creating 100% different looking heroes. The actual game, only lvl 3 right now, is fun. Graphics rock with minimal video lag, if any at all. So far so good, real good.

Yeah, why its suspected they never released a demo creator, as that's a big hook for superheroics. Its good that they run decently, instead of selecting "Do you want wrinkly cheeks?" YES "do you want a wrinkled forehead?" YES "do you want a wrinkly ballsack?" YES framerate murder PC avatars.

| Wolverine clone http://viscous.com/coh/norrinradd/24.html Am kind of disappointed that you say most of the current Beta testers are mostly comic fans and not real gamers If you want a Beta tested right, they should really go with more gamers instead of people who have never played a MMORPG in their life and have next to 0% chance of finding out how to look for bugs/exploits But whatever, it's their game ![]() Guess I gotta wait till open beta to try this out
