Sleeper wasn't meant to be a real encounter and sure isn't beatable in any real sense. Just because you can spend a few hours rezing people a bit faster than the rate he kills them at doesn't make it much more than killing 'a river source' in the warrens. Nice for somebody to do once on all the servers combined but it's still just for the novelty value.

Biggest rumor? That somebody at Sony said both the words EverQuest and Quality in the same sentence.

I believe it was EQlizer that listed the Executioner's Axe as dropping from a mob "in the depths of lower guk guarded by 8 spectres." That was a hell of a rumor.

^_^ oh wait, me+kasket started that on RN .. moments later in ooc 4 zones over "wow I just saw someone with a gnoll mask so cool!"

and of course L65 bards, rogues, whatnot in Runneye slaughtering everything
