if you have windows XP you can get a free month of planetside. not that great of a game but entertaining for a couple days as your mind races through all the possibilites of attack etc before realizing how dumbed down the whole FPS and strategy aspect really is. but hey, may as well download it overnight (its over a gig) and give it a whirl on sunday afternoon

Great recent games

Prince of Persia Sands of Time - Awesome. Only thing wrong with it was crappy camera angles because it is a port. Other then that, awesome gameplay and awesome story

Call of Duty - Best WWII FPS ever but way too short.

Max Payne 2 - Not as good as the original but still damn good

Halo - This game is total perfection

Thirteen - Friend says this game is really good. Already installed and will play when i have time.

Spellforce - Also comes highly reccomended and will install it when i have time

Need for Speed underground - Great controls and graphics, but game gets repetitive after the 10th race (112 races in total)

URU - Looking foreward to playing it. Always good to have a nice relaxing game.

I played PS in beta, I thought it sucked

Im trying the free trial right now it isnt that bad at all..

The people in the NC on Markov are most organized people ever, so are all of the other teams, its like a real war going on then rogue or gorilla tactics

Spellforce is pretty badass. Been playing it off and on for a couple weeks now, think I'm on the 10th mission now. It's like an odd combination of Diablo and Warcraft 3. It's RTS with some action rpg elements that I'm finding pretty cool so far. The completely customizable character idea is gnarly, makes for some interesting hybrid style combinations. Large Blade Weapons/Armor and White magic. Go Paladin!

Armed and Dangerous, worth it for the funny/goofy cutscenes and action.

Temple of Elemental Evl and Hordes of the Underdark were both great, although its sad that in order to play NWN online you also pretty much require the shitpile Shadows of Undrentide, the Ykesha of NWN. Anyone not using their CD key? laugh.

Deus Ex 2 is shit. Not "the shit", I mean shit.

The ROTK game is funny - I never would have expected a sequel to the TMNT arcade game. Steal it or something.

Undrentide at least had a better campaign than original NWN, which bored me to hell and back. Plus the henchmen were >> original also. No calling it the Ykesha version! ...

That said, I need to go buy Underdark.

Speaking of NWN, I just started playing it again after putting it on the shelf after about 8 hours of play a year ago. I found it pretty impenetrable and just not fun.

Some friends of mine started playing the multiplayer main campaign so I picked it up. The single player campaign IS a friggin' yawn fest but it's not a bad game really.
