| Lets be honest, many whining for higher raid numbers and no instancing are jerk-offs that can't see the content otherwise. Smaller count and instancing means playing with who you want. No longering having to deal with the assholes of these games simply cause they have 18+ hours and dps/CH. Raise your hand if you've been in a guild simply because "they were the ones at the content and/or they have the people to do x/y/z". Thought so. Gonna be a lotta sad ex-necros/rogues/clerics |

i've been in a lot of raiding guilds and i've founded two guilds for the purpose of rallying my friends and getting at the group content. i stick to my idea that sometimes more people is more fun. i don't mean more zergers, i mean more people doing their thing. | |

| My problem with instancing on a raid scale is that it may let everyone choose one optimal raiding path and stick to it. You'll just have a set schedule that you follow to progress. Even now there's a clear tendancy to do that in EQ (eg people not doing fear/hate because Kael is easier and better loot). But at least sometimes you're faced with a "well everything else is taken so let's try something different." |

| Only problem I see with instanced zones is content, if you can get a high speed group of people to clear a zone in ~40 minutes and just keep doing it over and over you can get some uber exp there and be max level very soon. Once you out level a instanced zone move to the next. Face it, the only thing that kept a lot of people from getting lvl 50 pre kunark was lack of shit to kill in sol B and Lguk, I remember sitting there for hours shouting for a group and playing the list game |

| All mentions I've seen about instancing in both WoW and EQ2 is in reference to raid content - I don't recall either making official mentions of XP camps being instanced. (although I could well have missed it, I don't read up terribly often) |

+16 Internets | Blizzard had mentioned that their solution for heavy camping would be increased spawn rate if tons of mobs are being killed. So I'm guessing due to that they probably wont do much instancing for grinding. Im guessing they will do instancing a la FFXI...missions, some quests, and certain bosses. Its more of a tool to prevent zerging as much as it is a tool to prevent racing to kill something first. As much FFXI bashing that goes on here, they did implement that part of the game well, so I wouldnt be surprised if WoW adapts it as well.
