| After only two episodes Russell might just be my all time favorite Survivor player ever and that is hard to do because I have many favorites. I am still shocked that he found the hidden immunity idol with 0 clues. AND on top of that the stuff he does and says is just fantastic. This guy can play the game. Oh and he is carrying this show. They didn't even really show the other tribe at all yet because he is just stealing every scene. I hope that he makes it far, at least to the jury, if not to the end.

| Yeah, I started out thinking I wasn't going to like Russell and that he wouldn't last long. But boy is he playing this game unlike any other. And so soon out of the gate (or off the boat). He deserves to go far regardless of how likable he is or isn't. |

| God I hope that crazy bitch goes next. The whole "oops, the thingy just floated off... sorry" but made me want to throat-punch her, probably because I've known the type too often. Bad things just sort of happen, no reason or cause mind you, they just seem to occur. Oh well! Luckily, I'm confident she's gone sooner or later and likely sooner. |

+6 Internets | Did russel outright tell the group members that he was searching for the immunity idol when he was looking under the tree? Cuz it seems odd that no one asked him wtf he was doing?

| Russell is so badass. The first episode I thought he was a real tool, but he's grown on me quickly. I think being a millionaire already probably helps him a bunch, as he doesn't really care too much so he'll take more risks. Finding the idol was pure win.

| This tribe is full of morons. Russell is only doing well because he's the only one playing the game. At least we haven't been shown one other player trying to make an alliance or showing a hint of strategy. After 19 seasons of survivor all they can think of is vote off the old people? If Jaison really tries to take Russell out next week he might just do it because everyone seems to respect him. Probably just misdirection from the preview though. The challenge was kind of lame. Seems like they were deliberately trying to get someone hurt. I usually really like the requisite "big fight" challenge but for some reason this one didn't do anything for me. Ben and Jasmine painting huge bulls-eyes on their backs was kind of interesting. God damn what a couple of retards. The leader of "The tribe where we don't know who anyone is except for Shambo" is a big dude. I hadn't really noticed but when he was in the pit with his shirt off he was pretty scary. |

| If I was in Russell's tribe I'd be doing the same thing as everyone else. Lay low, let the physically weak get kicked off and if you keep losing after the weak are gone, go with the flow of the tribe which is naturally to kick the more vocal people off, Ben and Russell in this case. Or... Do the above but keep Russell and whichever other "threats" around so that when the merge comes you'll have a few eliminations with the target on their backs. Assuming of course that the dominant alliance doesn't see the value in dragging an unlikeable player like Russell to the end with them. And all of this is assuming that they keep losing and merge with lower numbers... and considering twists and pre-merge tribe changes, that is very unlikely. Either way, Russell is playing a bad ass game so far. Reminds me of a few seasons ago when that poker player came on with a strategy of purposely being the asshole/bad guy... just not so godawful. Extra points too for being demeaning to women on national television. Can't wait to see his conversation with the "Dumbass Girl Alliance" on the reunion show. |

+58 Internets | Its like people never watch Survivor and come on. The black women was a classic example of this. Bossing around everyone, acting like she was in charge and never shutting up. If she somehow makes it to the merger she should be gone in no time. Let's be honest, the reason she was even sent to the other side was because she was the only other black person on that team. Is that really the person you want giving you intel? Or maybe black Russell was just smart and wanted her out of his camp. If you shut up and do average in challenges you can make it pretty far. Don't be too nice or people will think they'll lose to you in the end (yet somehow nobody voted out JT last season for this reason), but don't be too dominating either. I swear next open casting I'm sending in a tape. I feel like a sane version of white Russell watching it this many seasons in and seeing people act the same way they did 10 seasons ago |

| Hopefully Russel changes how the game is played. Right now people just kind of show up, bitch about the weather, bitch about their team mates, scheme against each other and pretty much just hang out for 40 days till someone wins.

| I think you guys are giving Russell too much credit. He's mainly just giving a lot of outrageous interviews and trying to get as much camera time as he can. Nothing that he has done so far is particularly clever or effective as far as playing the game goes. Almost every season there is an early alliance of 2-4 people that winds up dominating the game and for what we have been shown so far no one has even attempted to form one. Probably someone has but the producers are more interested in showing Russell hamming it up so we haven't seen it. |
