It was a little out of left field. I mean, at the start of the season there was some shit. But there was never an inclination that it would go that far.

I had assumed it was the Chinese coke dealer at first. I was surprised it was actually the porn guy. I kept expecting him to say "ya, we have it. Some chinese dude sold it to us" or some such.

I'm surprised by that turn of events as well. It definitely brought the whole Donna thing back to the surface though.

Jax literally did nothing wrong this episode, but Clay took everything out on him despite having Bobby and Opie with him the whole time. They could never have expected retaliation that fast.

In fact, I'm almost positive LuAnn didn't die to the porn guys. The timeline wouldn't make much sense. They go threaten Tom Arnold's character and he manages to have her beaten and left dead on the side of the road *and* found by the cops all before dinner the same day? No way.

The coke dealer did it, and when Opie finds out he's gonna be crushed. Opie hasn't told a soul about threatening that guy for Lila yet because it doesn't seem relevant, but it will come back. It has to.

Also I really thought Jax was going to say, "I'm not the one who murdered DONNA" not "women" or whatever he said. I really wanted him to say it too.

I think Gemma's reaction, or lack thereof (besides throwing down the plate) really shows how torn she is between what Clay aspires for the club and getting a glimpse of her late husband's musings and what he wanted/what Jax is trying to turn the club into.

If he'd said that, Opie would have put a bullet in Clay's head before the roast hit the table. Previews make it sound like at least Bobby is going to find out soon enough though. At that point, it would only be Opie, Halfsack and the two in the hospital that don't know. Clay and Tig obviously are in on it, Jax already knows, and Piney has deduced it. Bobby will be the swing vote.

As for Gemma, she's just worried that Clay will hurt Jax, which she can't abide. We're all pretty sure the two of them conspired to have John Teller killed for some reason. Probably it was a strength thing. They were all much younger, and Gemma's clearly been a wild child for a long time. It makes sense that she saw Clay as the stronger father figure and sided with him. However, there's no way in hell the mother of all mother hens could ever let someone hurt her baby. She'll be torn apart before she sides with either one of them vs. the other.

She's also feeling guilt over not reporting the rape. By hiding it, she's allowed the war with Zobelle to escalate even further, landing two Sons in the hospital and her whole family in jail. She's under more stress than just about anyone.

I was hoping he would say Donna too, so Opie could eat all kinds of crow. The way things are going now with guns being drawn on each other, death threats, and fights, I cannot see it ending anyway but either Jaxx or Clay dead.

More likely for Opie to die this season than either Clay or Jax. They're the central conflict of the show. I could easily see it coming down to Opie learning that Clay had Donna killed in a botched hit, and him going after either Clay or Tig. Maybe even both. In that case, it could easily come down to Jax having to take out Opie to save Clay's life.

If he really and truly cares for the club more than anything else like he said in the last episode, it should be easy to see what Jax would do in that situation.

In regards to LuAnn

If it wasn't Georgie I would be more inclined to believe it was Weston after being denied to deliver the guns to Zobelle after the near theft of their AKs. He is assuming he's on the outs with Ethan when really its just hes too white power to be dealing guns to the Mayans which is the reason he wasn't allowed to go.

Slow start, but rolling right along. Anyone know how many more episodes left in this season?

Tom "porn king" Arnold has a very pensive look on his face when talking to OJ the bodyguard about what to do next. Either Zoebell/White power or the Mayans are backing his studio now, so he is thinking about whether to tell them or not. I'm pretty sure we'll see the next episode have SoA storm over to the rival porn studio whcih is now protected by a well armed team. They obviously also took out Luann. It wouldn't have been the drug dealer imo, he would go after the porn star not Luann. The entire season has been about the escalation between Zoebell and Clay, and this just continues it.

So far every single mistake has been on Clays side, I'm guessing we'll start seeing Zoebells plans start backfiring now with the Irish, Mayans, Niners, etc.

Somehow the zoebelles daughter hooking up the irish is going to backfire his plans. either samcro will find out or the irish will not take kindly to the new guy and his son fucking with set business. plus with the irish wife here now who knows how connected she is. she has to be the original link to the ira.. you could also see from the mayans prez he does not trust zoebelle at all and no one likes getting something for free if you are a criminal. it puts you in someones pocket also.. rollins character he has to find out about zoebelles double dealing. such a crazy good show ya?

I got worried last night when it said next week's was 90 mins, but there are 4 more shows left this season.

I love the show, but my only issue is the amount stuff going on. Some of the side stories should be getting more time.

This may have been the only realistic way to keep Jax or Clay from killing one of each other. Things are coming to a head quickly. Anyone else notice in the preview that Gemma tells Jax that she doesn't think his dads death was an accident? Think she is finally forced to pick a side?

Yeah, with the whole preview and Gemma telling Jax that theory on his dad's death, coupled with some other stuff in the episode, it seems like it's setting up for everyone to eventually turn on Clay.
