+69 Internets | It was like a house special. I am sort of reluctant to return to the old cast. It was just amazing to see what Laurie and the writers could do in a 2 hour period.

+78 Internets | Great start to the season, it is going to go down from here though. All the chars you saw you are never going to be seen again. The very badass P.I. lasted two episodes, we all loved him and his interactions with House but Fox just removed him and that was it. One of two things is going to happen they will continue the trend of House being happy House, he might have a normal relationship with Cuddy. Than BAM typical drama his Ex-wife will be back in the picture and he has to choose between Cuddy and her. Another route is Cuddy does have a child so he is going to be daddy house? I kind of doubt they are going to go all WB on us but this is Fox after all. The other thing is leg pain will increase for some reason causing him to need a stronger drug, or something really horrible is going to happen that causes him to go back to typical House. This would return him quickly back to the formula that we all love. The halicinations just stopped, they didn't flicker out we never saw CTB and two lines of dialouge explained it all away. Asylum is gone, they may make a reference or two and a slim chance of seeing the suicidal girl. |

| Season opener was incredible. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: Andre Braugher sure packed on some pounds from making Thief to the filming of House season opener. I guess the stress of a failed show got to him...

| I didn't like that dickhead cop. I wasn't all that big on that whole storyline tbh. I wouldn't say everyone "loved" the interaction between House and the cop. One of House's saving graces, imo, is that most of the problems are solved episode to episode. I was a HUGE fan of the Shield when it came out. I enjoyed the episode building a problem and then resolving it. Occasionally a problem would span a few episodes and that was ok... I really, really got tired of a whole season building to an end though. When shows do that there are always a shitload of FILLER episodes where nearly nothing interesting happens. If there are a few elements of the show that span over the season that's fine, but the meat of the show should still be confined primarily to a single episode, otherwise it becomes more of a soap opera...

| FYI I fail at MS paint but I really want to see some of those characters come back.

Just the time lost on commercials and scheduling your life around broadcasts would be enough to pay for a DVR if it wasn't wasted. Oh and the episode was awesome. Last edited by Sheaf; 09-22-2009 at 05:03 PM.. | |

+8 Internets | As a big Broadway buff, I was super surprised when Lin Manuel jumped into the screen (Alvy). FYI, he was the creator/writer/star of the 2008 Tony award winning best musical: In the Heights. Had a conversation with him after one of his shows before they won the Tony. He's cool as hell. I'd like to see him back, but I think he has a lot on his plate to be a regular. |
