| I can't wait for the new season. Natalie Portman is going to make a guest apparence on the new season. I think since she's a vegetarian the contestants will have to do something vegetarian. They did that once for a wedding, and another time when they did the Foo Fighters concert I think. Some of the roadies were vegetarian. I love when they do the vegetarian ones because most vegetarians don't want just a salad, they want something that taste and looks as good as the non vegetarians get. Pretty sure they did ok with that in the wedding episode. |

| That Foo Fighters episode still pisses me off, because they edited out the cooking and tasting of the winning dish, which was a vegan stuffing IIRC. IT WAS AMAZING... WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT? TOO BAD! |

| I saw an interview with Padma, she said she starts the season in a size 4 dress and by the end is in a size 6. She gains 12-15 pounds over a season. I just found that interesting and sort of hard to believe because she always looks amazing to me.

| moar padma!! gotta add top chef back to DVR list, woot. I'm not a vegetarian but I agree the veg shows are pretty interesting, I liked the one Top Chef Masters did a lot too. Of course I also looooove the shows where they focus on meat and show a nice juicy steak cooked perfectly, or the ones with really weird meats. I know these two aren't a couple anymore, but goddamn salman rushdie is a lucky motherfucker, got to tap this for a few years. it would totally be worth a fatwa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

| I think the frontrunners are pretty clear: 1. Jennifer Carroll 2. Kevin Gillespie 3. Michael Isabella 4. Michael Voltaggio 5. Ron Duprat and Jennifer Carroll seems to be the clear frontrunner to me. The Blaze, Hung, Stephan, etc of the crop. There are also some terribad cooks...seriously who deepfries a steak for Wolfgang Puck? Either way it looks like it will be an entertaining season. PS: Ron makes me laugh. I hope he goes far.
