| mike sucks - it was very satisfying to watch him go from winner's bracket to loser's bracket. i'm glad they had the sense to do that to him, and i wonder when they made the decision to do it...do they send the winners out, and decide on losers and bring the winners back in and tell them and just not show it or something? cool episode - how come ashley wasn't bitching about cooking for the airforce when gays aren't allowed in the military? ![]() |

Great episode, this season really seems to be awesome compared to the bland contestants and bland settings of last year. I like Tom being in asshole mode, and his reasoning at table is great too. It feels like the producers took all the criticisms of past year to heart and worked hard to improve the show. I like Redbeard and Hector and Jen, think Jen or Redbeard probably gonna win. It was also great seeing the judge this time, since just a few weeks ago he was on Top Chef masters. I don't think they had a "extra cash for quickfire" winner thing this time, I wonder if its because of the military tie or because they have phased that out? | |

| There have been tons of contestants put in the "head chef" position on this show and it usually spells their doom but I have never seen somebody just take over the way Jen did. She looked like she was in her own restaurant and the other chefs were her line cooks. Everyone seemed to respect her and do what she said.Pretty impressive really considering all those other people are used to being head chefs and were in competition with her. Nice to see the douche in the bottom, maybe he'll be gone sooner than I thought. |

| Yeah, Jen was amazing this episode, I hope she gets to shine like that in future challenges. It's rare that you see great leadership on this show but man did she get shit done. What else is there to say? Pasta salad from a can??? Probably one of the most-earned dismissals ever. I agree that the level of talent is amazing this year and hopefully when we are in the top 5 or 6, we will be able to agree that whoever wins, deserved it. How many episodes are there this season, how many episodes are they going to have to kick off 2 people like next week? |

| That was pretty bad, I was expecting Hector to go a little longer but how do you fuck up meat Was kinda funny since I was eating a nice piece of grilled rib eye steak while watching the show, I didn't fuck my meat up! Although imo I think Frenchie was a stronger candidate for elimination, this is HIS fucking countries dishes and he fucked up badly.I'd have to say this weeks episode is probably the best Top Chef episode I've seen - the nice little twist of the elimination challenge, the caliber of the chefs who attended, and the lengthy camera time they devoted to the prep/cook work was brilliant. What a memory for Redbeard to have, so fucking jealous. It was pretty funny seeing the brother and the Guido as well at final table, Guido looked pretty pissed that his partner won - but then again, the brother did come up with all the ideas. It will be really suprising if Jen, Redbeard, or one of the two brothers don't win. Can't really see any of the others doing it. I see the Redhead older lady going next, then the big black guy, then the dyke, Mattise, Guido, and gay guy. |

| I love Jen. I'm officially rooting for her to win now. The elimination quickfire was pretty much bullshit IMO, but frankly, that chick was going nowhere anyway. Well deserved boot in the elimination challenge. The only downside is Mike I. being in the top again even though his partner had to show him how to make his sauce. I agree, Jen, the 2 brothers, and the bearded guy are the class of the group. I like Ashley too for some reason, but she is looking to be on her way out sooner than later. The fat Haitian dude and the older lady are obvious boots in the next few episodes and a lot of the other folks are pretty invisible so far. |

+4 Internets | ROFL, why didn't Matin say that he shot that lesbian down when she wanted to put asparagus in that dish? He could have easily thrown her under the bus. As soon as she mentioned it in the store he basically said you don't want anything green in the dish. Matin doesn't seem to be that great of a chef either. If ashley is the name of the lesbian i'm not sure how she is fucking gracious. She probably remembered that Matin didn't want asparagus the entire time she was there at judges table and was nervous as hell. She kept her mouth shut so she wouldn't get kicked out. Anyway I replayed the shopping scene and it sounded like they weren't gonna use asparagus after he shot her down. Dunno whats going on there. |
