+25 Internets | I am afraid the team is very good at writing themselves into corners. Everytime the build-up is gripping, very intense, but the resolution is pretty stupid (to various degrees though). I'll still watch the 4th season for sure.

| The problem with the show is that it's too well written for the TV format. The climax occurs sometime around episode 9-10 out of 12 total and then the rest of the season is 'falling action' like how a novel would be written.

| Just to discuss some clarification on the subject of last season... The only person who ever knew Dexter and his brother were related was the archive employee who died from lung cancer. And she destroyed the records saying that Dexter was a Moser son. Thus, even if Deb reads the personel files, all she could find out is that her dad was fucking the Ice Truck Killer's mother... which, I guess might cause some drama, as she fucked the ice truck killer... Right?

| I just don't see how that can happen unless it's a series finale. No way Deb/Rita just let him go and Dexter can't/won't kill them because of the code. I can see Deb getting close, maybe even Doakes style close but finding him out can't happen until the very end. |

I'm surprised they've gone this far in the TV show without her knowing. I don't think it's far fetched at all that she will.

Besides, if all else fails, there's always the DNA that links Dexter to Brian, though it would be quite a story twist to produce an event where the DNA comparison between the two could come up.
