New HBO comedy series that's about 7 episodes in. If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out on one of the funniest shows ever. Go watch it now.

It's a mockumentary that takes place in an Australian Public High School (Summer Heights High) and it follows the lives of two students and one teacher, all of whom are played by Chris Lilley. There's Ja'Mie, the stuck-up private school transfer; Mr. G, the self-absorbed, mildly cruel drama teacher; and my personal favorite, Jonah, the Polynesian bully.

Can't believe this is on HBO, their track record was so good as well.

I thought I'd like it but I couldn't watch past the first 15 minutes of the first episode. Was just Godawful. Might give it another try.

The only funny part of those clips was seeing a tubby, stereotypically-Asian kid speak with an Australian accent.

Although it does remind me a lot of Little Britain. No real jokes, just stupid setups/premises/characters that don't go anywhere. A fat bald guy in a fatter-woman fatsuit gets naked, HILARIOUS. Tony Blair is gay, wants to bang Obama, HILARIOUS.

I could never get into the show either myself, though a lot of my friends loved it.

I'm surprised they bothered showing this outside of Australia, it's all based off Australian high school stereotypes. That being said I don't even know many people here who like it.

It's almost as if Britain sent all their worthless undesirables to an island somewhere and they made a tv show.

It's barely funny if you recognise and have experienced all the stereotypes they're playing off, I can't imagine how bad it must seem to people who didn't go through highschool in Aus.

You have to have seen the first series or two where the show is actually almost funny. It has turned to shit though and I was embarassed watching it.

no. this show isn't even remotely funny. The Life and Times of Tim is far superior to this and its just an Office Space /Beavis and Butthead hybrid.
