I wasn't terribly impressed with the show. They did have an interesting new spin on the story (that we found out at the end) but otherwise the story was WAY too rushed. Them deciding to "start" the resistance at the end was just... no I didn't believe it. Julie and Donovan went from normal to rebel leaders in a way that made sense and took a little time. These two went from wtf? to wannabe rebel leaders in 3 seconds flat. I also didn't believe that the gaggle of reporters would have been as uppity as they were with Anna. And of all the dumb questions they asked, no one thought to ask "Why do you speak English if you just found us?"

I'm starting to see why we are only getting 4 eps this year, but I'm really hoping it was just a shitty first ep and it gets much better.

Was very unimpressed with the show for what they had to work with. The premise is quite neat and I didn't see the original but this was really badly written or acted, was hard to tell in some areas. The dialogue of the teenagers and a few other scenes were cringe worthy. Julia is playing Julia again there was a moment where she tried to change the way she played her character for a split second and it was the most awkward 'look i'm a mom' scene. The way the characters acted, as OneofOne stated, was quite the leap I felt too.

I can't imagine the american people being this open to them too. The lady, while she talks in a calming voice, does not even look trustworthy, she's borderline smug and now people are celebrating them because they will set up a medical station in each major city. There's a bit too many wtfs and hmms in this show when you're watching it to really turn off the brain. It's a show that seems that's going to be close to something like the way flashforward started, tease for 43 minutes, big reveal in last minute, repeat. I also suspected who the rat was a little too easily, and I know I'm not alone on that

I thought it was it all right.

I don't know why they formed the resistance so soon or how that one guy knew there were lizard people among us before they arrived. I thought they introduced the traitor V's too soon.

Its an interesting show and I'll keep watching, mostly because I fondly remember V from my childhood.

The show was OK. I liked it by itself, but after that, I watched Dexter and Sons of Anarchy, and it was pretty clear that the show was "flat" compared to those shows. The acting in someplaces wasn't so hot, the charachters either seemed flat or in some scenes, they were overacting.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: At first I was mad that the Vs didn't have different voices. How are they're supposed to tell humans from the Vs? But that answered itself at the end. Not a fan of the reporter guy, and not sure what's up with the brewing romance with the son and the chick V. It's a little backwards if they're going to bring in the child story. Story felt very rushed, but that was necessary to get people into the story. Like I said though, I liked it and hope they keep this one going.
