So John follows John Henry to where he knows not because he wants Cameron's chip, we saw that right there he cares about her as much as his mother. He's upset when her body doesn't make it through.. only to see the real thing there instead.

After seeing what happened in the last 20 minutes, the scene on the bed with John and Cameron made a lot more sense. She had some kind of love for him and he for her. She had a feeling after what Ellison had told her that things were going to change, that she might not see him soon, and thats why she was sitting there staring at him. Thats why we got to see the pseudo-love scene. She knew her parts were fine, she just wanted him like.. feeling inside her. The writers knew the viewers wanted to see Cameron and John get it on, and this was to be their last moment alone.

I disagree with this.

Cameron's entire reason for being sent back in time was to get her chip to John Henry. All the Skynet sent terminators' chips were modified to self destruct when removed. John knew the only way to get a working chip to John Henry was to send Cameron. Hence the whole dialog scene with Sarah and Cameron, when Sarah wondered why John wanted Cameron "away from him". It wasn't because he didn't trust her, it was because he needed Cameron in the past to ensure he made it to the future and to help the alliance with Catherine's faction.

A) That's why she immediately took out the knife when she met John Henry, she knew her mission was to get a working chip to him. B) That's why Cameron convinced John to not leave the area when John saw that he was wanted by the police. C) That's why she lied to Ellison, because John needed to think they needed to go to ZeiraCorp to destroy Skynet so she could get her chip to JH and to get John to the time machine. D) In order for Catherine to pass the message to Cameron to "Join us" she had to know that Cameron was sent back by future John. Present day John would not know he ordered the submarine to pick up future Catherine to offer an alliance.

Touching, amazing. When Cameron was there lifeless at the end I had a lump in my throat. And the actor who plays John Connor... I gotta hand it to that guy, he does it perfectly. The anguish Connor felt at the end combined with the bittersweet realization of seeing Derek, Kyle and Cameron there alive, man how could anyone emotionally survive all that.

And the bed-scene with john and cameron... sexbot jokes aside, it was one of the more heartfelt and truly impactful emotional scenes I've seen on TV for a long, long time.

Hopefully they get another season, I think they've definitley shown they can produce amazing TV. Or, sadly, Summer Glau gets to be one of the most amazing characters on another amazing cancelled show, again.

wow, that has to be one of the best season/series finale i have ever seen. So fucking awesome. Damn, this show and Chuck may not make it to season 3 is a fucking shame.

Terminator made the jump into the top2, only being topped by Firefly.. and even this is not sure.

This has to be the best season finale ever. If I had the money, I would produce season 3 just to see it. Anyone up for lending me some millions?

I believe they destroyed Vic's chip at some point. I'd have to go back and rewatch a few episodes to make sure.

While T1, T2 and SSC were great in their own right telling us about what happens/happened in the past, I've always wanted to see a movie or a series about the future fight from the from the moment I got into this 'universe'. If there is a Season 3, count me in on the crowd that's drooling at the thought of a double-timeperiod setup where Sarah/others are doing shit in the past and John/others doing shit in the future, potentially even directly influencing eachother and playing ball. It would need one hell of a writing team to pull it off without turning it into a shitpile, but I think the last half dozen eps of this season have proven that they've got it in em.

I wont go over the points again (as previous posters have touched upon all the really good parts of the ep) but goddamn that was some amazing TV.

This was a really good series/season finale, but I have to say LOST always has the best season finales! Nothing can mind fuck you like the first time LOST through a flash forward at you!

That said, I really enjoyed this finale, but I can't shake some of those really really bad episodes out of my head. The show's gotten awesome at the end when they keep killing all the cast (riley, the asian lady, derek, now cameron, etc.) I almost wonder if this would have worked better as a mini series and they cut all the really boring stuff out.

I wonder if there's a 3rd season how they'll do it. It sure seems like it has to be john in the future, and sarah in the past. Who knows

I don't think they could another season now. From the interviews i read, future scenes were the most expensive things to film, so that would be really hard to pull off.
I am not sure if Sarah was sick or not. She has been through a lot recently and could have just not been eating right, but 11% is bunch.

I think they have already done some forshadowing with Cameron that I am surprised some of you havent picked up on.

Obviously they hint at emotion with her (getting upset and loving John), but I am beginning to think that it is actually Cameron in that Body, not just a reprogrammed Terminator.

Last Episode, John Henry said that the human brain was flawed because there was no where to download from the brain when it dies. Well, I think Skynet is figuring out that regular T-800's are far too easy to spot, which is why they switched to the T-888. With this new endoskeleton, they could create different sizes and builds so they could create different looks..

Now that Skynet has a different look, time to send them after John. This didnt work, so several years later (or several time lines later), Skynet figures out how to 'download' the Human brain into one of it's T-888's. This explains why Skynet would need to harvest and keep humans. This may also explain a few things in Terminator Salvation- the harvesting of humans and why Marcus Wright thinks he is Human. It also might be a reason why there are not more T-1001's running around. The resources to produce one of these units might be slim or the ability to produce one might be extremely difficult. Farming humans is easier and 'cheaper'.

Now that they download humans into the metal, they release (or 'escape')back into the human population. If one were to ever run into John Connor, then the core program (the one Cameron talked about this last episode) overrides the 'human' program and BOOM- headshot.

So, now that this has been established, now begins the explaination of how John met Cameron. Who met who first? It's another nice little paradox like John's birth.

John met Cameron in 1999, then they travel forward to 2007. He finds out that his future self sent her back. Now john jumps forward to 20?? with T-888 Cameron 'dead' and meets Human Cameron. Assuming the show continues, they build a relationship. Sometime after, Human Cameron is captured and Skynet builds the T-888 after her (possibly knowing of their relationship) to go after him. She 'escapes', gets back into population, John knows of this, subdues her and reprograms her, but is not able to rid the metal of its core programming.

Just a strong feeling of what we would find out within the show.

What I am more interested in is the 3rd faction. I want to know How the T-1001 became what it is now. How it was 'reprogrammed', if at all and I really want to know what will come of John Henry. I also want to know what will come of Cameron in the mainframe at Zeira Corp.

This show better not get cancelled.
