Fucking love this show. I always find myself going wow so thats how they do it. I think how they make Vinyl Records was the most surprising. That and tin foil.

How It's Made is pretty cool, but it is nothing compared to Modern Marvels. They go into way more detail about all sorts of incredibly interesting things. Modern Marvels could very well be the best show on television.

How It's Made is the most enthralling show that is completely boring and shouldn't be entertaining.

I... I just can't look away.

I watched 20 minutes of them explaining how mechanical pencils were made... and I couldn't look away.

How It's Made is so freakin entertaining and I don't know why. It's definitely the ultimate stoner show though. I think the pinnacle was the episode on how they make Pringles. I could almost hear the growling stomachs of thousands of potheads across the country as they played it.

Im going to have to disagree with you on the ultimate stoner show. The ultimate thing to watch while your stoned is Blue Planet, especially the oceans DVD.

No Bob Ross, the Painter who paints the SAME FUCKING HOUSE ON A LAKE WITH MOUNTAINS EVERYTIME. Ok maybe not everytime,sometimes instead of a house he just paints a tree, that is where it gets exciting, what is he going to pu in the left corner? .. Sometimes he'll add birds, other times not.

This. How it's made is awesome, but Bob Ross is the best stoner show ever.

Some Assembly Required is so much better than How It's Made. They don't show it nearly as often but it's the same basic concept, but there is an actual host and it's actually not boring.

That happened to me with an episode a few weeks ago, but it was with these. They had fucking glitter in them. It was amazing!
