+54 Internets | Leverage The pilot of this new show leaked and it was fantastic. It's about a group of thieves, hackers and other "specialists" that join up to do a job together. The plot of the pilot leads to what the show is about, so I don't want to spoil anything - needless to say it's worth watching. I guess it could be compared to Burn Notice, except they work with high-tech and go after big targets. (Think Ocean's 11-style) |

+25 Internets | Going to watch this tomorrow probably since I love the premise. Do you think it's going to succeed where so many shows have failed recently, that are all in the same genre somewhat? |

| Gave this a watch and liked it. But, it made me want to watch new Smith episodes more than watch more episodes of this series.

| Second episode came on last night, and while there have been reviews touting how "unoriginal" it is, is originality really required for it to be entertaining? The two setups so far have been fun. I have definitely enjoyed how over-the-top the show has been and the nerd jokes about Star Wars, etc... It does make me miss Smith, and reminds me I need to watch Burn Notice more often (unless that has gone to hell lately). TNT seems to have a decent track record of at least keep shows on through a whole season, maybe Leverage will develop some and take off. |

As for Leverage, it's a little too thick on the bullshit for my tastes. Reminds me more of some absurd 80's show than it does the other recent conman/thief shows. I've only watched the pilot so far though, maybe episode 2 got better. Last edited by Vorph; 12-10-2008 at 03:56 PM.. | |

| Heh, I don't now how I missed Hustle but I just finished off the first season after your post, Faille. Now I think I have to agree with Tyen and recant my previous post about Leverage. It looks horrible in comparison to Hustle. Thanks for the protip. |

+25 Internets | So I am checking Hustle, convinced by the thumbs up in this thread and the presence of Jaime Murray in the cast (the english vampire in Dexter's second season), and I find the title song pretty catchy. I see theme is composed by Simon Rogers, I go check imdb and what do I see: a nugget of obscure video game lore. Simon Rogers (amongst many other things) did the theme song of Speedball 2 for the Bitmap Brothers under the alias Nation 12! Hah!

| I liked Smith a lot so I gave this a shot and made it about 3/4 through the pilot. Seemed awful to me and none of the characters were interesting/chicks weren't hot enough to be worthwhile I thought. Meh. |

| I actually had these dvrs and watched the first 2, I thought it was pretty good tv. Plus the best thing is not being on network tv, I dont think it has to worry about the high sort of ratings necesary to keep the show on the air. That way they can really build up the characters. I guess each his own, cause this one is on my watch weekly list now.
