CSI and its spin-offs

I tend watch them all it seems. CSI, CSI Miami, CSI Newyork, Criminal Minds, Numbers, Without a trace, and my fav NCIS. Combining them all because they don't seem to be popular on these boards. If you haven't watched the finales spoilers below.

Now NCIS is awesome because of The women in the picture(Ziva) and her relationship with DiNozzo. The finale is basically breaking up the team which is complete balls and I doubt it will happen. Also sucks that Jenny was killed but kinda saw that comming due to her being sick. They also love to show Zivas ass which is a plus. This show makes me laugh a lot.

Me and wife really only watch miami to make fun of "H" and you could play a drinking game to how many times he takes off his shades and puts them on. Its also hilarious what everyone wears and drives on the show while doing the CSI part.

Newyork is an after thought really and the cast is pretty boring to me.

Criminal minds is my second fav as the cast of chars work well together and the stories are somewhat untapped and interesting.

Without a trace gets old pretty quick as they all confess in the end but its cool seeing things from the 50's and all that.

CSI is really going downhill for me as well and the finale was a let down.

I can't understand why NCIS is on the air. Its the JAG of CSI shows, and about as entertaining as that show was.

That being said, the only CSI I watch is the original as reruns on Spike as I tend to forget it's on. Miami is pure terrible and New York is almost as bad.

never watched New York. Miami is hilarious. The original I'll watch the random re-run on spike but that's about it.

Was pretty cool when it first came out but meh. It's like Law N Order now.

I much preferred Kate in NCIS, and the show has slipped a lot for me since she's left.

Criminal minds is also slipping a bit, which I think has to do with a lack of concern for what's happening week to week. Every week is a killed, every week they catch him, yay! Would be much better if they shifted to longer multi episode spanning arcs.

I like Without a Trace, i think it is the only one that doesn't have the super tech crutch, they have some good eps and some stinkers too. NSIS is really enjoyable,a lot more for the humor to me.
I wanted to like csi ny, Gary Sinise is one of my fav actors, but the show is lousy. It is however better than Miami. I can not even watch the main CSI anymore.

networks should be allowed only 1 crime related show per year (lawyer shows count). 1 medical too.

Was just the opposite for me, as far as the Kate thing goes. As far as criminal Minds goes people want a full plot in one episode unless you want something like 24. Which I think could be pretty cool. One season trying to catch one insanely fucked up killer. They could make you hate him so much and all that.

The original CSI (Vegas) is the only good one imo. The rest really blow.

And the season Finale for CSI Vegas was fantastic, the Warrick Brown storyline continuation. The season premier should be really good.

Also CSI Vegas has the best cast between Gil Grissom, Brass, Greg Sanders, Hodges, Doc Robbins, Catherine Willows, and Wendy (She is hot).

CSI Las Vegas is great, mostly because of William Petersen. He plays a man of science, which is refreshing in American pop culture.

David Caruso is a joke. The sun glasses thing is bad enough, but do you notice that almost every single camera shot is him with his head tilted at a 45 degree angle?

CSI New York has some of the worst scripts ever. I wouldn't be surprised if the writers for this show all came from Leprechaun 4: Leprechaun in Space.

That why we watch it the sun glasses and head tilt and we try and guess which CSI will be wearing the high heels to the beach or crime scene today.

That's pretty much why I watch Miami as well. I don't think there's a single person who actually takes the show seriously, but it's hilarious and the female cast is hot. It's syndicated on about 12 different channels so I either catch it or Law and Order on somewhere when I'm bored.

Also - I've taken a liking to NCIS since I started watching it late last season. It's pretty generic as far as the crimes go but the cast works really well together and there's the fact that Tuesday at 8pm has never held anything of value. Next season will be interesting, hope that the whole team break up thing is resolved quickly.

Isn't CSI:Miami the most popular show in the world? Or was a couple years ago?

edit: looked it up, was said in 2006, and I don't know if they've done one since, but it was the show that was in the most 10 ten rating lists in 20 countries.

Oh, and I like Numbers as well.

I never understood the appeal of CSI Miami. David Caruso is a horrible actor. Every time I see a preview for it a cringe a little bit. I thought CSI Vegas ended pretty well, and am looking forward to seeing the first episode next season.

Wife and I missed the last few episodes of Without a Trace since they moved Lost to it's time slot, and we don't have one of them new leet Tivo's that can record more than one show at a time.
