| So You Think You Can Dance... Alright, so my wife watches this (and I admit that I watch it sometimes as well). Last night was the season premier and a guy named Robert Muraine had the last set for the show. Here is the video...I was highly entertained. Make sure you watch it through the judges comments because he does more crazy shit after that.

| This show is worth watching for the audition episodes at the least, because you can see a lot of incredibly cool shit like that guy. Generally every season there is someone who can do something like that really well. The one judge is obnoxiously irritating due to her voice which makes it hard to watch the show once it goes into weekly elimination mode, but I find it a lot more enjoyable than American Idol. There is one choreographer who every season does really creative stuff, I can't remember his name. Usually my wife is watching the show and I tend to tune it out except for the stuff the one choreographer does. Anyone who watches the show more diligently know who I mean? I know its a guy, he's young, as I recall typically dresses in black and seems normal. Edit: not sure why I thought that. Anyway quick digging, it's this guy, Wade Robson. I find the stuff he choreographs is generally incredibly unique/interesting. Wade Robson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

| Plug Life! | I dont mind this show. It's differant from other dance shows because they accept a variety of people whose dance backgrounds are differant. That last guy at then end last week was fucking crazy haha. Cant stand the one judge Mary Murphy though. What a cunt. Her voice is so grating,I feel like my head is going ot explode if I listen to her to long,or I'll lose my hearing. |

| That's the bad thing. Many people audition and they can ONLY do popping and locking. The judges KNOW that 99% of them will not be able to get to the finale as they are unable to do anything else (eg, NOT technically trained). They have to take the ones that really pop out of them that are unique. Trust me, they get tons of pop and lockers. lol.

| I get sucked into this when my girlfriend watches it I must say, I really don't understand the thought processes of the judges sometimes. Some days they give tickets to absolute losers, and other days they make some of the best go to choreography. If you are a very attractive, spunky white girl you got a damn good shot of getting a ticket, regardless of talent. |

| I really have no idea what that link has to do with what I said Quinloe? I'm not looking up links for the show to prove or disprove my opinion. There were quite a handful of minorty dancers who I think did quite well who the judges didn't think did so well (one black guy in particular), and there were a handful of preppy white girls who I think sucked (and not due to their chosen style, just in general) who the judges loved. I don't understand it. And this is coming from an unapolegetic white guy. My girlfriend attributes it to the judges just being in cranky moods some days compared to others, which might explain some of it /shrug |
