Entourage: Exclusive: Season Five Look!

Maybe it's because of when I watched season 4, but it seems like they took forever to do new episodes. I was beginning to fear there wouldn't be a season 5 of this awesome show. Bless HBO.

Not gonna read any spoilers but FUCK YEA!!! I can't wait I LOVE this show.

Sadly it is the only good show left on HBO imo. The torch has been passed to Showtime (for now).

I'm sure the writer's strike had something to do with the delay. It makes sense since the show normally starts in June, but now it's starting three months later.

Big Love is a good show, too. Other than that though, I'd agree. So much of what HBO has put out lately has been utter crap.

Last I heard was October, but I don't know if the writers' strike affected that date.

I tried Big Love and I didn't really like it. Same with Flight of the Concords and John from Cincy. And as for Curb, I am a HUGE Seinfeld fan (I have prob seen every episode 30 times) but Curb just doesn't do it for me I don't really like it I find Larry David a bit awkward and annoying, but his voice overs in Seinfeld are classic..."Is anyone here a Marine biologist?"

I watched 2 seasons of Curb TRYING LIKE HELL TO LOVE IT but sadly Curb has nothing on Seinfeld:

So yea Entourage unfortunately is the only show on HBO that currently really I enjoy. The rest of the shows do not have the "magic" that the former greats had...The Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Band of Brothers and so on.

Only new thing coming soon on HBO that looks promising is Generation Kill, made by one of the guys behind The Wire. It's only a 7 part mini-series, however. I haven't seen anything new on Preacher or ASOIAF in a while. And The Pacific War is airing spring/summer 2009.

I think you're wrong about Big Love, I think it's up there, quality-wise. I rank it with Entourage, but I'm not really that into Entourage. Some of it's cool, and some of it I just really can't relate to.
