Heroes(Season 3)

Figured I'd make a new thread, for the upcoming season.

Saw this today.

Heroes' welcomes sexy new 'Speedster'

Will be interesting to see someone that moves at super sonic speeds it seems, and even in the split seconds hiro can freeze time, the character can move a good distance.

I lost all interest in Heroes. Season 1 was awesome, but season 2 was so bad that they completely lost my viewership.

My gf and I will watch it. You guys act like it costs money or something to view the program. I'm curious to see if they can turn it into something good. Lord knows they've had plenty of time for rewrites.

there are dudes on that show that can live forever, travel through time at will and take others with them, rez people and can cure anything with just some of their blood. what kind of plot can you have when the heroes can do anything?

Despite the disappointing second season, I'll still be watching season 3.

Come on, it's not like we have a glut of super hero themed shows to feast upon. This is all we've got, so like it or not, this is what we've got to watch. And honestly it's still not as bad as half the crap on TV nowadays.

It's like the TV version of City of Heroes. There's nothing else out there to satiate the super hero craving so you suffer through something that you know could be oh-so-much-better, hoping for the time when that something will finally arrive.

I have no idea, and that's one of the reasons I'll be tuning in. No one is arguing the idea that they seem to have painted themselves into a corner (with plot holes you can drive the Titanic through) but like I said, I'm curious what they'll do. If you don't want to watch the show, don't.

Sadly QFT. I'd rather watch The Hills on Monday night ROFLMAO.

Here is my prob with Heroes: the only 2 chars I really, really enjoy on the show are Sylar and Peter. I would kill to see a kick ass peter vs Sylar fight that was more then 2 seconds long (And not a typical Heroes fight where the Heroes don't use thier powers when they fight). Maybe they could add some flashbacks a la LOST on Sylar and his past life so we can see his evil twisted ways. What really sucks is that in some episodes there is absolutely no Peter or Sylar storyline, sometimes multiple episodes in a row are like this and instead you have to watch lame chars like Monica, or Claire bear, or Nikki to name a few. So you can go 2 weeks without seeing the best 2 characters, except for a small tease at the end of the episode. Plus the lame characters like Claire bear ruin the show because of things like using their blood to bring people back from the dead, therefore nobody can ever be killed off on the show. They should also add some more dark evil characters to the show. Sylar is great and I enjoyed Ted too, I wanna see some more chars abuse their powers for evil. The invisible guy should rob banks and go to victoria fashon shows and watch the super models walk around naked. But yea I think I am going to wait for this on DVD, although I really do enjoy bashing the show on the forums late Monday night because no other show with such a chance for greatness fails so badly. It's like Superman losing an arm wrestling contest to pee wee herman.

It might not be a great show anymore, but it's worth 40mins/week of my time.

I hadn't seen a post from you for a while but I havent read the Lost thread

The early part of season 3 sucked donkey balls and lost me as a viewer. I may go back and watch them all when they finally cancel/finish the series but not until then and I hear it was worth watching for a good ending.

As for Heroes, same as most in here, I'll watch it and hope it overcomes the shiteness that was a lot of season 2.

Season 2 was uneven, but it was hardly a wash. The 2nd half was actually pretty solid after a somewhat languid start. Some of the later episodes even made Stalker Boy somewhat likable.

Didn't someone link an interview in the Season 2 thread that said that the show was going to be renamed Villians for the Fourth Season or something?
