yeah, season 3 of lost was mostly miss with a few hits. Not that I expect a guy with Locke as his avatar to agree with me....

Season 2 for heroes had it's moments but failed miserably in the long run. The entire Hero in ancient Japan was a fucking awful. He was so great in season 1 too, but blah. I wish they spent less time on costumes for stupid samurai and more on SFX for power fights :[

Season 3 (chapter 3) is called Villains. The name of the show isn't changing itself.

Remember people, Sylar, Peter, Claire and Hiro's old friend are not invulnerable. Head off = gone for good. Perfect opportunities for story progression.

A lot of season 3 is going to be origin stories of a bunch of new villains, and about how they meet each other, mirroring season 1.

Apparently. I watched it twice because I thought I mis-read it the first time.

I'll watch it, but the ending of season 1 pissed me off and season 2 didn't make me any less pissed off.

I'd at least give it to the end of November sweeps to see if they've dug themselves out of their hole.

If that's actually the case I'm sold on the show again. I'm going to give it a chance no matter what, because I enjoyed season 2 overall even if it didn't touch season 1 (and because I fast forward through ALEEEJAAANDDRROOOOOO and Claire shit). A league of super villains is pretty much the only thing that can make this show incredible again. The Company is just boring, and played out after season 2.

Was it the creator Tim Kring that said he never read comics? I think THAT was starting to show in season 2.

I'm just worried that all these new villains in season 3 is going to make it just as mediocre as season 2 was. One of the big reasons people has such a problem with season 2 was because of how much time they devoted to these new characters no one cared about, taking a lot of time away from the stories we were interested in.

The first hour is just going to be a recap.

The writers strike basically killed any chance of Season 2 recovering from the awful early episodes.

Kringe admitted/realised that the season was failing hard and started to do something about it. The strike however, meant before it could recover it had to go on hiatus
