| BSG: Season 4 Hi2u preview!! Also of discussion, this was posted over at ew.com ''Battlestar Galactica'': Crack the clues! | Battlestar Galactica (TV Show - 2004) | TV Preview | TV | Entertainment Weekly They give hints...the big one is that no one at the table is the final Cylon. Hint 1: Laura is burning something of importance. We know from snippets that her cancer has come back. It's too big to be a candle...it almost looks like a mini-goblet or alter...something substantial being burned. Hint 2: Natalie (Six) has a different agenda from the rest of the Cylons. The current agenda of the Cylons is the Hybrid Baby Project and the neutralization of threats to them (aka humans). Hint 3: Tigh is in Cylon denial Hint 4: Lee doesn't return to flight status...more of a civilian/politician role? Hint 5: "Head" Six is in the middle. She has always been the main "cylon god" spokesperson, and Baltar seems to be paying close attention. Of interesting note is she is in the "Jesus" spot of the image. Hint 6: Anders seemed to be supportive of Kara, who looks dejected. Notice how hers and Baltar's hands seem to overlap Six. Since they both seem to have some sort of destiny... Hint 7: Tyrol has a knife, and Moore says it has something to do with his kid. Hint 8: Athena and Helo are looking across the table at someone whom is reacting. Natalie seems to be the most likely candidate...this could signal the fact she is anti-hybrid. Hint 9: The President and Adama are far apart, but they aren't ignoring eachother. Hint 10: The final cylon isn't pictured. Also other things of note: Notice how the left side has a closed book, and the right side has an open book. Also notice how the left glass of water is slightly empty, while the right one is full. The Six's hand on the right side of the table also seems to be slightly open and facing towards them, while the other hand is turned away. This seems to possibly represent a potential difference in ideology.

| Nice polo, Lee. Thanks for posting this. Looking at that picture, Cally, Gaeta, D and Zarek are about all I can think of for long-running characters that aren't in the picture. Nice how half of the people in that photo are cylons. I think you're right about Athena and Helo reacting to Natalie wanting to bust a cap in a hybrid's ass. Did they explain in the preview why Starbuck was getting sent away or was that left open? Might explain the sad look on her face. |

| I'm pretty surprised Baltar's eliminated - how the heck do they explain him surviving that nuclear blast if he didn't download? Unless the everyone's-a-cylon-and-boy-won't-earth-be-surprised-when-they-all-come-back theory is true, but that seems a stretch. I'm guessing it's not Cally because Cylons don't seem to have kids except with humans. Given that Lee's sitting next to and looking at the surprise, I'm thinking it'll be D.

edit: i'm guessing Roslin is 'burning' something that is valuable to the search for earth to stop them from getting there. Also, back to Sci-Fi Friday! SyFy Portal

| I am personally hoping they learned their lesson from season 3 and wont have a giant load of filler episodes, but looking at that preview it is definatly looking good so far. If Kara is not the final fifth Cylon, which i doubt she is, my guess would either be D or Baltar. I am still NOT convinced that Baltar is not a Cylon and even though they have eluded to the fact that he isn't I still think it could be a strong possability. My guess on how Earth will be when they find it will either be a modern-day / slightly futuristc (10-20 years) or a much more advanced space-faring Earth. I really hope they dont cop out and make it in the BC's and that was left to the original 13th tribe deal, or that would be very lame in my opinion. I remember posting and getting some agreements from the old season 3 thread about how cool a battle with Earth's futuristic space forces would be =p and I would still love to see that simply because I think the CGI for this show is incredible, and of course part of me wants to see lots of baseships blow up again like in Exodus part 2. Just a small edit...im not sure I am liking the whole "Jesus" route Baltar is taking because it is eluding to showing up arounnd the birth of Christianity, and I want large space battles and just having Galactica is seriously hurting that and making it just way too one sided. I mean honestly do they even have a way to legitimately destroy a baseship at this point? Last edited by Juvarisx : 01-11-2008 at 01:29 AM. |

I'm hoping for a joke ending. "The weary and beaten survivors of the human race finally limp into Sol's system and get a sight of the blue planet. Cheers throughout the fleet begin in celebration. Sudden quiet and screams ensue as a Borg cube appears and destroys them all." | |
