| Also if someone else brought this up I missed it, but they also showed that even the Cylons don't know much about who designed them. I had always figured the centurions (or another early cylon model) had figured out how to make the human cylons, but the #1 kind of shoots that down when he talks about the plans of their makers. |

| I was thinking a bit more about the models and how that might be a clue to whom the 5th Final cylon is. 1 (Cavil) - Atheist. Doesn't like humans. Wants machines to be machines. 2 (Lebonin)- Very religious. Thinks humans have sinned in god's eyes and lost their souls. Thinks Cylons are god's replacement for mankind. Always seems to be trying to find out more about god and the Cylon's place in his universe. 3 (D'anna) - Determined and focused. She basically will have a one track mind about things and is willing to do just about anything to obtain that goal. She seems very hungry for knowledge and understanding. She doesn't seem to like humans very much, but she won't dismiss them outright. 4 (Simon) - From what we've seen of him, he seems somewhat cold and analytical. He doesn't seem to like humans much. A close match to Cavil. 5 (Doral) - The most violent and sadistic of the Cylons. He probably hates humans the most. However, he seems somewhat religious from some of the episodes we have seen. 6 (Six) - The most hungry for love and emotion. Very religious. She is willing to work with humans, to a degree. She seems to feel that being able to find love might help bring her closer to god. Six has also formed sub-personalities within her model line, unlike the others. 7 - ? 8 (Sharon) - The most "human" of the core cylons, by their own admission. She desires love and belonging. She seems to be able to easily form sub-personalities and is willing to go against her line if she feels it is the right thing to do. Probably the most human-friendly line, overall. Religious. What we know about the four: Tyrol: Religious background, but skeptical. Willing to endanger others to protect ones he loves...to a degree. He is internally tormented and seems to question his place in the universe at times. Tigh: Stoic, pragmatic, but hard headed. He will do what needs to be done, even if it means he will suffer. Loyal to his friends. Not very religious. Tory: Confused, but straight forward. Anders: Devoted, but easily rattled. Prone to brash decisions. Tyrol might be a good fit for 7, maybe.

+8 Internets | Part of me wonders if there are two models of Sharon and that she may be both 7 and 8. They said how one model has never voted opposite of the other, well maybe they didn't here either. The attitudes and outlook of the Sharons seem to be pretty different as well, if you note the early numbers seem more extreme, and seem to grow more "human" as they go up in number, maybe that was because the original creators were trying to perfect them and with each model they came that much closer to emulating humanity, which is why Sharon, at #8 is the closest to human. Maybe when they hit 7, there we're only a few flaws, they decided to keep the appearance but upgraded it to what 8 is now. just a thought. |

| There was another piece of information brought up again on a few boards. When both Caprica Six and Sharon had sex they both had the Glowing Spines (Sharon's scene was removed in some US airings). The interesting thing to note is that Sharon became pregnant when this occurred, but Caprica Six died too soon after to tell. So what if Caprica Six also conceived a child from Baltar, but the fetus died along with her in the colony attack, and the baby couldn't download, or could only download a 'cylon half'. This presents some interesting theories. 1) The glowing spine is an indicator for a cylon's conception, 2) The 'angel' that only Six and Baltar project is really the mind of their never-born child, and 3) This explains the vision connection properly between Six, Sharon (the two hybrid mothers) and Roslin who received Hera's blood. Edit: For Tyrol, he obviously wasn't the one to conceive since he's the father, Cally did. Tyrol wouldn't have the glowing spine and since they had a boy, Nicholas, he only contributed a Y-chromosome with no sex-linked traits. Perhaps there's also something that goes on during pregnancy when a cylon is the mother.

| That's a cool idea. I definitely didn't see the Sharon glowing spine scene (I don't think on the US DVDs either) so I always just thought that scene with the Six was something they thought would be cool for Cylons then decided to get rid of later in the season. It does help explain the visions, like you said. |

| I need some help finding some BSG pictures so I can play with wall papers on my desktop and my iphone. Has anyone seen a really good picture of the Mark2 or the BSG? I looked through pages of of google image search only to find nothing but the same old press releases and a few shots of the BSG from a game. Thanks.

| Wait I do think I remember it now, is it when her and Helo are in the woods on Caprica maybe? That seems pretty familiar. I searched and found a bunch of places talking about it but not an episode number or anything. |

| I forgot the link, but the CG company that does the stuff for BSG had a bunch of hi-res images on their website. I use the scene from Exodus part 2 where the Galactica is getting hammered by those basestars before Pegasus shows us as my work PC background ;P
