| I can't see Lee acting so irrationally as to space Tigh, Anders, and Tyrol. That scene in the preview looks all fucked up with Starbuck actually stopping him?

I've been wondering whether to post for a few weeks and ask people to spoiler previews but decided against it as I presumed I was in a minority. The spoilers have been getting worse each week with what they have leaked in advance and what people have discussed but what was said 2 posts up is a terrible spoiler and probably the worst so far >.< I don't even watch the spoilers they moronically include in every episode during the opening credits, isn't a good part of the enjoyment of watching something the wonder of what will happen next? Anyways, if people could discuss previews in the spoiler tags it would be greatly appreciated!

They're also bleeding viewers because the show becomes more soap less sci-fi every season. WTB Pew Pew. I don't give a shit who is banging who. That is a footnote, not a major pivot point of the plot.

Maybe the balance was weighting more on the "soap" side in the last episodes, but I don't think that's why they are "bleeding viewers". Where did you hear they are bleeding viewers, anyway?

Some of us don't even get to see the previews, i.e. those without the channels in question and watch it via torrents for example, so I echo the sentiments to avoid discussing previews without them being placed in spoiler tags.

Well, there's the TIVO/DVR issue, along with piracy. But supposedly one of the big reasons that they lost a lot of viewers was the arch-conservatives who loved the show at the start when it was all like 'WE WILL NEVAR FORGET 8/11!!!" started bailing in Season 2 and then left in droves after the New Caprica occupation.

i think the exodus in the 2nd season had more to do with break in story style. they left the day to day behind and started the string of self contained stories like black market, scar, etc and you figured out the cylons might had a plan but the writers didn't.

The show started off very balanced. There was fighting in space and on the ground, drama, sex, creepy religious cylons, etc. Now it's drama, sex, creepy religious cylons, and creepy religious humans. It went from having something for everyone to being fucking weird and slow. I feel like I'm reading Orson Scott Card's freaky mormon shit when I watch. I don't care about the potential similarity to real life politics, but the series is not what it began as, at all. There was a time when we gave a shit about the humans making a cool new fighter, and apparently the vast Cylon forces are now just a couple of crippled ships. What happened to their takeover of the colonies? They can't build more ships? WTF. They're explaining nothing relevant to the premise of the show as they get down into these minutiae about gods and prophecies. It may as well not even be in space.

If they made the show available for legal download/VoD internationally, I'd buy the episodes twice (on demand and on HD discs). I'd say the chances of that happening are close to 0, since you can't even watch the fucking trailers if you are not in the US.
